Really liked this! maybe could do with a little more space in the maps, otherwise a great game! The fake modifiers were good, movement felt great and I likethe little features like enemies looking at you and the way that the bullets have some inaccuracy/spread when shot.  Really good job

Hey i assume you got the controls to work? ;)

The idea was to have modifiers that impact gameplay but are told in reverse (hence the game lies), unfortunately we didn't really deliver this information to the player very well as we rushed the menus and didn't have enough time to make many impactful modifiers.

My highscore of arena 1 was 72 (first try). I found that the modifiers break the flow of the gameplay. The platform controller can also get some more love. For instance, the jumping isn't very satisfying and the Brackeys only jumps when he is grounded (should also jump when he was grounded 0.2 seconds ago).

It's the best fun I had on this jam, I'm literally addicted to this game (3093 score, tho I want to do more). Great visuals and cool music. I love the weapons and idea. Though I believe that there should be some kind of penalty when enemies get to the bottom Line of code.

Initially there was a penalty but we ended up removing it since if RNG can sometimes screw you up and later on the pistol lacks the dps needed to actually kill all enemies.

Once we balance the game further we'll add the penalty again. :)

Shooting that fast firing weapon was surprisingly fun. Didn't really feel the modifiers and they kind of confused me a little when a modifier showed up along with the opposite one. The controls felt nice and i liked the sounds. Also the graphics were nice, not really sure what Brackeys was doing here but whatever floats your boat.

Fun little game. I like the different power ups. Although I didn't notice the point that the modifiers were told in reverse. Looks like you had fun creating this. Good job.

Seems weird, did you try both webGL and downloaded versions of the game?

Controller controls are bad right now so i'd suggest against it (never had a chance to try them, there's no deadzones and navigate the menus poorly).

The idea for the game was to have modifiers that change how the game plays, with the twist that they're told in reverse (hence the game lies. so for example "you move slower" means faster movement). Unfortunately due to time limitations we don't have too many impactful modifiers and we delivered them quite poorly as the menus were rushed.

Fun ride! Very cool to play! I really enjoy the fact that there are multiple type weapons :)
