Sorry to say this but a possible nice and well worked mario-clone stays unplayed (at least by me) for turning the theme into "mess with the player". The 3 minutes I actually played the game looked promising. Nice graphics and solid controls but I reached -4 in those three minutes so I'm out.

Beat the entire thing at -79 lives left. Well designed as a ragey platformer. Using sounds and music from outside sources was against the rules of the Jam, but that doesn't really detract from it. Still a fun game if you like this style.
That's the best score I've heard anyone get so far! I'm glad you enjoyed it :D I didn't see that in the rules because I rushed to start developing but hopefully it doesn't affect the game too much

Phew! I think I just played that for a whole hour, but I finished it! Your game is really polished for having only been made in a week. And it certainly fits the theme! I agree with some of the others that the camera moves too fast, but that's just minor. Overall, this is a really great game and I could barely tell it was from a Game Jam. Awesome job!
P.S. You've never experienced pure, unfiltered terror until three carrot spikes come whooshing out of a pit at jet speeds to kill you...

It's like Trap Dungeons, but with a more 'silly comedy' approach. Camera is too fast IMO, adds to the overall difficulty, but other than that it's really funny and really fun - makes you want to try again and again to beat the game.

One of the most polished games that I played through the jam :). It's really good if you want to make your day worse :D But anyway I had a lot of fun playing it :D

Liked the sound effects and that every death left the "blood" splash. :) Camera movement could be better. Frustration overload :D

Camera movement is really jittery but game has pretty good game feel.

Awesome game! I kept playing even though I was getting so frustrated. I only wish that there were checkpoints in the middle so I didn't have to play from the start every time I died.

Thank you so much! The rolling was a cheat way because I had no time to make a crouching animation but I think it works with the character anyway. I'll go check your game out now :D

Your efforts were clearly visible. I didn't like the way camera moved. It was too dynamic.
