This is very interesting! I am glad to see a game made with Godot and using the Brackets asset package, just like me! Can you come and try mine?https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-13/rate/3346738

How does the game fit the theme?
You cannot die in this game, you just get teleported to another place and when its time to go back, you continue from where you left! Nothing actually can go wrong!
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I did all the code from scratch and Music was made from scratch aswell by JanBurn.
How many people worked on the game?2

Yo this game is cool man, the game idea and execution is amazing, the way the game teach you the mechanics feels intuitive, and I like that I slowly unlock different skills and is required to kms in order to progress in the game. I was so ready to have a boss fight then it just cut to the ending haha.
This is a pretty cool idea and the design execution of that idea is really good, would be super interesting to see what you might/could build this into.
Congrats!
Pretty cool concept! game finished as i was hoping to beat the necromancers butt sad xD congrats on your game!
Hehe, really cute game ^_^
The idea that dying cycled between the different levels was really refreshing and gave the game a nice tempo! Wish there was more to play :D
I absolutely loved the concept of a metroidvania on parallel universes! Really enjoyed this game, many congrats!! My main feedback is that the mushroom guy did not even say hi to me :( hahaha
Thank you so much! I planned to do some funny stuff with the Shroom guy, but as i was coding him, my friend found a game breaking bug and i had to stop developing him and had to fix the bug before the deadline. After fixing it, i was just too tired to continue working on him so he just sits there, silently, menacingly... Thank you for your kind words!
Even though it is a relatively short game, I believe it is one of my favorites so far. I love what you did with the background, the concept itself, and the mechanics, which are simple but well-polished. I really loved your game! Great job!
This is a really awesome game I really liked it I even finished it

I really enjoyed the shifting of realities/dimensions/areas. Very creative and fun mechanic!
Damm that was a pretty fun game, especially for a first game! The way you shift levels was pretty interesting and the powerups were fun to play around. This is overall a fun game!
i really enjoyed this! this is really impresive for a first public game!
Loved the idea! it was so original and funny, i can see this game as a bigger one with more levels and everything, it has potential, tho some parts were too thight, for example, when you get the dash you have to dash and move at a very exact time so the spikes dont kill you, but overall, i loved it!
I like the idea of scattered hues of color, and the teleporting between each room bc nothing can go wrong, I would have loved to see the final battle. Sick game anyway
You should be incredibly proud for this being your first release! I really enjoyed your approach of "Nothing Can Go Wrong" as an assurance rather than as an ominous warning. Switching positions instead of restarting in the same place as a checkpoint was a really cool way to distribute power ups intermittently rather than clearly linearly.
I was really looking forward to seeing what happened after rejoining myself, so I'll be sure to keep an eye out for any further development you do! That experience was downright buttery.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I really wanted to keep developing but the deadline came before i could do more. When i first started, didn't know how the checkpoint system would work/feel but i guess it did work alright :)
I want to keep developing this game so there might be updates after the jam concludes!
Amazing game man. Seriously for your first release this is such a strong entry. You've earned a follower I'm really looking forward to seeing what you release in the future.
