im not too sure what to do here

where are the machines

very chaotic

line of sights are a bit punishing

Interesting game mechanic, even though a bit confusing for me

cover img is just a bit misleading tbh

art styles clash too much to me

1 star for ai art :(

AI art :(

color palette is nice but some ui elements seem to be overlapping

AI art :(

simple but fun

Seems a bit unfinished, description says repair as fast as possible but no music, no timer, no sense of urgency.

doesn't seem to work for me

Done, sorry about that!

Build the machine that consumes the world. Expand your AI infrastructure, drain resources, and destabilize humanity as systems spiral into collapse, water runs dry, wars ignite, and nothing can stop what you've set in motion.

A Game About AI

Please note: This game is fully created using assets made by real people.

A Game About AI is a minimalist incremental game about expanding the infrastructure behind artificial intelligence.

Start with a single region, build a single facility, and scale it into a global network of data centers, energy systems, and supply chains. As capacity grows, so do the costs.

Energy demand rises. Water runs short. Economies shift. Conflicts emerge.

Expand carefully or push too far and watch the consequences unfold.

Features:

  • Clean, number-driven progression
  • Expanding AI infrastructure across the globe
  • Dynamic world reactions including shortages and unrest
  • Dark, systemic outcomes

You are not conquering the world.

You are optimizing it.

And it will cost everything.

We are still looking for:

  • German
  • Japanese
  • Korean
  • Chinese

And possible additional languages:

  • Turkish
  • Thai

Hi everyone!

I’m an indie game developer working on adding localization to my already released games, and I’m looking for volunteer translators to help localize the game into the most popular languages used on Steam.

Languages I’m Looking For

Based on Steam’s most widely used languages, I’m especially interested in:

  • Simplified Chinese

  • Spanish (Spain)

  • German

  • French

  • Russian

  • Brazilian Portuguese

  • Japanese

  • Korean

  • Italian

(If you speak another language commonly used on Steam, feel free to reach out too!)

About the Game

  • Genre: Adventure/RPG

  • Platform: PC (Steam)

  • Text amount: Approx. 25000 words

  • Tones: narrative-heavy, serious, humorous

What I Can Offer

  • Free game key

  • Credit in the game (and store page if desired)

  • Experience localizing a real, shipped indie game

  • Build your portfolio

How Localization Will Work

  • Strings will be provided in an easy format (Google Sheet)

  • I’m happy to answer context questions and provide screenshots

  • Native speakers preferred, but motivated learners are welcome

How to Contact Me

If you’re interested, please comment below or send me an email to talehammergames(at)gmail.com with:

  • Language(s)

  • Native / fluent level

  • Any previous translation or localization experience (optional)

Thanks for reading, and I really appreciate any help or signal boosts! 💙

Appreciate it! <3

expertly made, each upgrade felt nice and meaningful.

I have no idea why but some games make my cursor continuously point down, don't think its a problem on my end.

Controls were kinda crazy, I kept spinning so fast I'm surprised I didn't form a black hole

Definitely one of the most unique games of the jam

That was insanely fun, also difficult, but fun. The intro was kinda out there like what was that but I loved the space scene. Props for the red alert reference.

I have no idea what im doing ;(
