You have an interesting concept. Are you planning to continue the development?
Controls were kinda crazy, I kept spinning so fast I'm surprised I didn't form a black hole
I really wish that this jam allowed post-deadline bug fixes. It's a single badly-set variable that I'll fix when voting is over.
Love your Idea. This is the game I wanted to make ever since i watched Sebastian Lague's video on planets. I could download a topographic map of moon and make a real moon surface with robots on it, that I can battle for control over the moon. Such a good idea!
I loved your environment and it was a pleasure to walk your moon! Hope you continue working on the project.
It had a good feel. Now add some music and objectives. :) You did really well on the movement and shooting mechanics.
It reminded me of StarFox 64 tank levels.
I held the spin button for a second, landed on my head and spinned forever. It was funny though, good job with what you got to work in your time!
Thanks! Unfortunately, I figured out the turn problem well after the deadline.
Turn speed is extremely high (due to high framerate?)
Thanks for letting me know. I need to take care of that.
I'm guessing this is due to the lack of time, but tidying up the controls and adding SFX to movement and shooting would help game feel and user retention. Anyhow, I found my fun with it, my machine turned upside down, and when I pressed down and to the left, it started rotating and it elevated from the ground.
Cool little project, but if you made the scope smaller, and focused on just the tank exploring the area, probably it would be a good cozy game.
Thank you for the feedback! You actually gave me a great idea for a direction to take this later.
Also, your assumption is correct. Do to some personal issues, I had less than a day to work on this project, plus I overscoped quite a bit.
Thanks again!
