Great idea! I hope you will build on it after the jam and continue developing the game! Incredible that you managed to create that many levels in such a short time! :)

This was really cool - as others have said, I'm really impressed with the creativity of levels that you were able to come up with in the short jam period. You definitely were able to come up with some interesting puzzles using the time-stop mechanic, this was really awesome. Nice job!

Very enjoyable is an understatement, good isn't enough and creative won't describe this game. A hidden gem might do I hope. Great gem bro. keep it up!!

Really solid level design, especially impressive given the short time frame. Each stage felt like a fun puzzle to solve. The visuals and sounds are nicely done too.

Great job overall, and best of luck in the Jam!

The game has really good potential. I think it needs a few fixes and it’ll be great. One thing is that standing on a crate doesn’t really stop time (for me).

Another is that in this level:

When I push the crate to the right it sometimes goes further right and drops, other times it goes right and stops and sometimes it doesn’t keep going right. It is unpredictable.

Overall, it was really good. I did skip one of the puzzles. In this level: image.png I just floated right without using the two crates as intended. :) It is possible as I intuitively suspected.

I would slow down the game a bit or the falling of inanimate objects. It was hard to land on them. If they would please fall slower than the player, it would be more fun. :)

Good work!

I love the game mechanics, it is very similar to my project. Good game!

Not bad, movement/physics needs a lot more work. Right now solution on most levels feels cheesy and focused on movement instead of puzzle aspect. Very not sure about floating mechanic. Box sometimes saves velocity when time resumes, sometimes doesn't, very inconsistent. Spikes on ceiling sometimes kill you when they shouldn't (where it's right at the edge of jump height)

Thanks for the review :) Unfortunately we couldn't get the physics to feel fully intuitive before the deadline, in particular depending on your device some objects will fall faster and the player will jump a different height (thats why the low spikes were barely killing you). With regards to the boxes, they only save their speed if you give them momentum while time isn't stopped. We didn't have enough time to explain that properly :(

I tried many times in the web version, but I wasn't able to finish level 3. Then I thought maybe you also face the same issues as my game, where it works alot better it PC build 😄 I downloaded the PC version of your game and it works great. I like floating mechanics <3
I would really appreciate it if you could play and rate my game as well 🙏

I had a blast! The graphics are nice, the introduction is spot on with the mechanics. Nice work! I can't finish this level(I think level 6), can I ask if you can give me a hint?

Thanks for the kind words :) The goal of that room is to land on the platform while it is still midair (the platform falls slower than the player) and once  you're on it and it stops moving you can make the jump to the end. You're going to want to use the float to get enough airtime for the platform to reach your height. Alternatively you could try doing a small hop before jumping so the platform has already started falling a bit.

Works very well, nice levels that work very well with the mecanics. Nicely done!

Cute graphics and nice use of theme

Very cool idea! Controls were a little odd to me but once ya get the hang of it, its fun!

Just my kinda game - took me a moment to get the hang of it but once you understand the main mechanic its a lot of fun.

Game is very fun! I only have to say that floating is cheating. I think it would’ve been suited better if you only allow to float for a short period of time. And that floating would float slightly up but rather slightly down. Once I learned about floating I literally floated directly to every door. 😄

Thanks for the comment :). Sadly the web version was shipped with a bug in the gravity system. The executable files have the correct floating mechanics.

Ah alright, makes more sense now

The theme is well respected, and the mechanics work well, not to mention the level design which is really cool, but perhaps a little difficult.
