Great game highly recommend
Haha the platforms are so slippery, nice entry!
I like make the game theme is what happing when Unity is loading. It seem that the game had changed.
Really fun game and challenging. I had fun going through each level. Nice work!
I really appreciate your kind words, Thank you for playing!
great game. Compatible with android, fun to play.
I can see this game being very addictive. Great job!
The browser Webgl handles the android / iOS input, which is why you were able to play this on your android. Thank you for playing!
FUN GAME! Let's go! You cannot beat my score :)
If anyone beats your score, 25!! I’d be surprised - That’s impressive to say the least. Thank you for playing and your kind words.
One of the most addictive games I have played, I think the abnormal platforming controls makes it an interesting challenge. I also Love the sounds. I think the context/story is very interesting, the idea of playing as an editor or patch compiling other people code, however I don’t know if its related to the gameplay or graphics that much…
My only issue is that I don’t think the theme of the jam is well integrated but that’s ok, its amazing that this is your second game jam, keep it up!
Also, I got confused by the email sign up, since I thought it was part of the game, like a “meta” sign up…
Appreciate your valuable feedback, Thank you for playing!
Really cool game, very fun and enjoyable, great for the jam. Good luck!
Thank you! Really appreciate your kind words! Thank you for playing :)
Fun game! The slippery movement adds an element of difficulty, made it fun figuring out how to navigate the platforms.
Thank you so much for playing! If Patches had legs, compiling code would be too easy :P
it was a fun game and can even be accessed on the phone! I would say that you are likely tracking all of the opportunities here and I would definitely truly keep the phone aspect in mind! Maybe do a horizontal screen capability too to prevent fat fingering haha.
Thank you so much for playing and your kind words! What you mentioned is all part of my Lively Webgl template on the unity asset store. It has a basic, but customizable mobile input system. Cheers!
For some reason, when I click on the "Play Minigame" button, it doesn't work on my MacBook. But then i tried it on my PC and i was able to play it. The controls are very snappy and good 👍 i like it.
I would really appreciate it if you could play and rate my game as well 🙏
Thank you, I am happy to hear that you had fun playing it!
That is good feedback on my webgl template! I'll have to fix that in a future update.
I already did :)
Really enjoyed this, cool idea, good music, and that slippery movement makes things interesting. Great jam entry! 🎮
Thank you for playing! Patches has been debugging his 'footing' ever since conceptualization. He hopes to someday sprout feet to accommodate his slippery nature. Appreciate the kind feedback :)
such a great game, once I got pro level at it I played it again lol
Thank you so much! I am happy to hear that you are now a pro player - Next stop, the championships 🤣 Thank you for playing!
Interesting exper
iment. Has potential.
Like everyone said, it is slippery.
It needs a bit variety but the implementation is pretty solid.
I liked that it was slippery but personally I’d add normal platforms and mix.
I really appreciate that! The slipperiness is part of the fun, but when I can update the game I will certainly be adding more grippy platforms for sure! You made 3rd place :D!!! Looks like you’re headed to the championships too, Thank you for playing!
Very slippery movement and very high gravity feel extremely bad and wonky. Reached lvl 8 I think
Thank you for playing. Yes the dreaded thorn in my palm. 8 Iterations is great, considering.
Really fun and interesting game! I enjoyed my time with it. The movement felt a little slippery which made platforming a challenge, but the core concept is cool and it was still a great experience. Awesome work!
Glad to hear you enjoyed the game. Thank you so much for playing, and the kind remarks!
Game is reallry fun, Ez 3 lvl, I know I am a noob in any games ))
I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it, The player controls are very tricky to master at first. Thank you for playing!
Loved the concept! Fun game to play (though the floors were a bit too slippery to me). THANK YOU FOR COYOTE TIME!
I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it, Thank you for playing!
I really like your music and sounds. How the player actually puts an effort into that jump is awesome(sound wise). The slippery floor is a bit hard until you get used to it. As a developer myself I love the developer related comments and the mini game during load time(next time maybe a dino jump game?).
I didn't like that at launch I saw a sign up screen. I believe it is for a leaderboard of sort, but having to confirm an email for a jam game almost made me quit. So maybe work on your onboarding experience.
Thank you for playing! Appreciate the user feedback. That's actually part of my webgl template (Lively WebGL Template on the asset store) for the upcoming update - so thats some really good feedback! I'll work that into the design to make the UX better - and you bet the dino game will be in one of the future updates too!
The player control is unique and punishing, which is perfect for this game, because the player's life can be refilled with the pick up items. This could result in some "comeback" moments, which are always fun.
I was unsure about the life points at first, but I totally agree. Thank you for playing!
