Thanks for the suggestion! I thought about adding hints or an easy mode, but I just didn't have enough time to do it.

Hey, thanks for checking out the game and for using the walkthrough!

The reason it was probably so hard to figure out without a guide is because I developed the entire game in one intense, 12-hour session. Because of that, I never really had the chance to step away from the puzzles and then come back to them with fresh eyes later. The more I built, the less I revisited and tweaked the earlier parts.

So, it's very likely that some of the mechanics and puzzles ended up being more complicated or unclear than intended. This was one of my first more "ambitious" projects, something I tried to make less basic and more engaging without using tutorials, which I know ended up making it a bit confusing and rough around the edges. I'm hoping to take what I learned from this and create much better games in the future.

I really appreciate you giving it a try and sticking with it

I uploaded a walkthrough

If you get stuck you can watch this video

Thanks so much for the feedback! I'm really glad you liked the atmosphere and the sound design.

You're right about the issues. The Web Build is a little buggy, which is probably why the sensitivity slider wasn't working. I'm making a video walkthrough today so you can explore all the puzzles and rooms you missed.

Thanks for playing!

Tbh best entry so far
Its simple and fun

Really fun and interesting game! I enjoyed my time with it. The movement felt a little slippery which made platforming a challenge, but the core concept is cool and it was still a great experience. Awesome work!

I love this concept! The visuals are so good and the idea of typing commands on a computer to sell mystery meat falling from the sky is genius. Had a lot of fun with it, great job!

Thanks! The banana was meant to be a joke, but I ran out of time to make it something you could actually slip on! Glad you enjoyed the environment.

(1 edit)

Thank you so much for giving it a try and for the kind words! I totally agree about the smoothness. Considering this was my first larger project and was coded in one 12-hour marathon, I'm just happy it's functional! Your comment means a lot.

This game concept is good
It would be nice if you added more levels lol

I had a lot of fun playing it

The pacing is kinda strange but I didnt know how else to include the jam theme so I just made it that you and the enemies get faster
You should get as fast as you can until you die 👍

Fun little Game the only issue is that it doesnt restart when you die but its okay

Play in fullscreen idk whats wrong with the game resolution

I’m an amateur game dev with some Unity experience, and I’d really like to join a team for Scream Jam. I still see myself as a beginner, but I’m motivated, eager, and ready to learn whatever’s needed along the way.

Thank You 😁
