i love it nice idea
Really digging the incorportations of theme, with chess being timeless, the game being a loop and the background that defies time itself. However, the gameplay was a little confusing to understand at first and while the mechanics are solid, it feels like there could be challenges or puzzles to properly utilise the game's mechanics. Solid work overall though, and a very interesting take on the theme.
I love the idea of playing around with a board game as timeless as Chess, and I really rate the thematic link However, the game was very hard to understand, it's difficult to feel when moves have been completed and it's hard to see the differences in pieces. I do however rate the background - feeling suspended in time, so to concentrate on the complicated game. I feel the game would be enhanced with some music and sound effects too.
The game it self was hard to understand and felt a bit buggy. When I press multiple pieces the field gets brighter and selects more instead of deselecting.
However I do see there’s quite some effort put into this so big kudos for that. And I really liked the background, it added a fun timeless atmosphere to timeless game of chess. 🙌
