What a fantastic and (spoiler) story! Loved being that little robot. The story is good, the game awesome. Your storytelling abilities are great, and the ending is also perfect. And I also liked your sense of humor about the bed and books. Would love to rediscover a new story. Btw you could easily lock some doors and make the player solve a puzzle for the key. It would be nice :)

Also really clever with the (spoiler) mini game. Good for you!

Technical feedback: The camera controller could be improved. Especially near the walls, sometimes I get glitches and this could be solved. Player feels a bit slow, but this is an investigation, it should be like this. But compared to the story and visuals, this is nothing :) Love it!

Thank you so much for the valuable feedback really appreciate it :)
Absolutely, you hit the key points! We are also planning to make it more challenging and put more puzzles and stuff in the game, and we already have a more mysterious story line in mind.
After the jam, I will publish a new version of this short demo, with all the bugs mentioned so far fixed, plus some little finetunes as well.
Everyone's feedback is really getting us going, and we are very thankful for all of you! :) <3

Developer

Your game seems really interesting. I love solving puzzles. Unfortunately I am stuck on MacOS for a while and can't play it. Could you make a WebGL build and reply to comment after the jam? It would be a shame if I miss yours for technical limitations.

Hi Thank you for checking out the game, and sure the first thing after the jam I will release WebGL and Linux too, with some bugfixes like the camera over the wall and let you know about it - I promise.
I'm very gald to get feedbacks after the jam too it helps me a lot :)
Thanks once more :)

Marvelous style! Did you code your own shaders? Overall great experience from playing it!🐰

Developer

Thank you for your time and the feedback, really appreciate it :)
Basically using the assets basic stuff and add a custom post processing to the camera :)

What a beautiful story. Almost didn't see that end game button at the top.
I think I  missed it. but,  I  don't understand why they can't bring him with them? It was so emotionally touching.  Having compassion for a robot. Graphically, it looked  very good. My only caveat (But not a deal breaker) were the controls and camera. All in all it was fun and    you can see all the love and attention that went into this.

Thank you so much! :)
Like with any game jam with tight deadline, we had to prioritize what mattered most.
We're focused on making that emotional connection with Pip. That bittersweet question of 'why can't they take him?' is exactly what we hoped would resonate with the players.
Really appreciate you playing and sharing your thoughts! :)

Beautiful experience, the game froze for me and had to redo it so it felt like it would be nice to be able to skip the text faster. Also the camera needs some work, I was looking inside the walls a lot.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your time and the feedback :) Absolutely the camera and text speed / skip is a good point. After the GJam will fix it :)

Developer

Regarding the freez, is the game freezes for you ? or the interaction with objects ? - From my side the game was not freezed out so I didn't experience it so far, tried out different PCs as well, and works fine to me in all setups.

Ok, guys... I am speachless. This is beautiful, like seriously. I had goosebumps multiple times. It's a sad but beautiful story. Like, I don't even know what to write - it is very, very strong entry. Please take it further and polish it after jam, more people deserve to see it. Really great job. And the voice acting at the end is incredible , beautiful voice, a lot of emotions. Really tied up everything together perfectly! I rated your game s 5 stars in all categories - well deserved!

Aaaaand I just want to say - I really don't write comments like that usually. I try to be polite but you really did something amazing!

Developer

Dear PitiIT, Thank you for your words it means a lot to us, really :) We were very happy while we read your comment :) And absolutely we are going to make it a full game with more voiceovers and more things to cover to make the story longer and give it more meaning :) This is our first game we actually finished, so your comment has made us more determined to take all this further, so thank you again.
