The visuals and sound make a great atmosphere, and the auto-attack makes it super smooth! Such an enjoyable experience! (I managed to survive for 154 s)
If you extend it after the jam, it'd be cool to see new enemy types :)

Really satisfying experience and perfect difficulty level, great work!!

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! You found the main ending :) There is a way to cool things down and stop the flames... Might be  worth a second try if you're curious! Thanks for the comment on the interactions too.

And the audio sliders for music and SFX can be found in the settings menu!

Very fun puzzler, really enjoyed it! If you keep working on the game, I think keybindings would be a nice addition! (to switch between actions)

Oh, so the trick to make me enjoy tic tac toe was to play it on six boards at once :D Very elegant and addictive, great game!!

Wow  what a great concept! I really enjoyed playing it, and hope that you make more levels soon :D

Excellent level design, one of the best I've ever seen in a jam! Engaging concept and perfect execution, congrats!!

I'm quite curious about the level design process. You mentioned in a comment that you designed backwards from the solution, maybe you could also comment on how did you choose the mechanics (did you implement any other that didn't make it to the final version?) and how did you go about playtesting to check how hard/easy the puzzles were? Thanks!

PS: it hurts when you don't make it to the leaderboard by just a minute :')

Loved the stunning visuals and really satisfying SFX!! I also appreciate a good devlog :D You mention 18h for the art, so I was wondering how did the process go? Did you iterate on the creature designs or was it more about fish shapes or colors? Super interesting work!

A truly eerie atmosphere, 10/10. Congratulations!!
(And of course, I also found opening toilet doors oddly satisfying)

Really fun concept! I quite enjoyed the three-phase gameplay (feeding > map moves > minigames). And Pip is so cute! :D

Stunning artwork and satisfyingly fluid mechanics, the perfect setup for a puzzle game! :D Great work!!

Love to hear that! :D

Aww thanks a lot, glad you enjoyed it! :D

(1 edit)

Gorgeous art and atmosphere! I think the main mechanic is very interesting and has great potential for a longer game! You could add more secret messages for narrative purposes (similar to how Hollow Knight scatters pieces of lore around the map), but I think using it as part of the puzzles (as you did with the pipe) is just genius! Congrats to the whole team!!
I hope you develop this further, I'd love to play an extended version! :D

Very captivating simulator! I quite enjoyed the experience and loved the little spinning dance at the end. And the fight animation made me laugh haha! Great work! :D

Very interesting and engaging concept, I love the creature design and the artstyle!
If you decide to expand the game, I would love to somehow see interactions between the Goobers I gathered :D

This game kept me smiling the whole time :D Loved the sunbathing cat and the silly faces of the villagers!

Impressed by the beautiful environmental effects and quirky animations, I loved the fish swimming in the checkpoints! Really fun to play with the laser gun :D Great work!!

Thank you! :)

Thanks a lot, glad you liked it! :)

I never expected I would like a mechanic where you throw pieces of your body at things hahaha :) I love the concept! And great artwork too!

Thanks for the kind words and the feedback!
We would have loved to make a few more slides, but ran short on time. I agree that more animations would make it feel even more alive, we will definitely expand on that next time (you may have noticed already but Cobi sometimes glances at the camera while idling until she loafs and stays loafed :) )

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! :)

Thanks for the kind words! And glad to hear the mechanics supported the feeling of a peculiar situation :)

Thanks a lot for the kind words! <3

Thanks a lot! Glad you enjoyed it! :D

Super interesting and original experience! I love the careful attention to details within the gameplay sections: screen shake, particle effects, intrusive thought labels, etc. I'd like to play longer rounds if you plan to release an extended version :)
Great work!

Just found this after the voting period and I'm sad I didn't get here in time to give you 5 stars. Incredible levels of polish wrapping the very cleverly designed core mechanics!! I like how every mechanic opens up so many  possibilities for interesting level design, I would love to see more levels coming in the future :D

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! Indeed, permanent power ups would be cool but unfortunately we did not have time to work on that, so hopefully in the future! :)

That's a solid score! Thanks for playing :D

Thanks a lot! Glad you enjoyed it! <3

Thanks for the kind words! Ghost is definitely a strong one :D

Thanks! Glad you liked it!

Thanks a lot for the kind words, happy you enjoyed it! And indeed, the multiplier line is very powerful :D

Thank you, glad you enjoyed! <3

Cuteness level at 1000%! That was so charming! (FYI I played on an iPad and the touch controls worked very smoothly)

Such an original and refreshing experience, I loved it!

Loved the art style and how the information is presented with graphs and tiny simulations, a truly special game!

Super engaging and a superb space exploration vibe, congrats! :D

Thanks for the support and the suggestion! Indeed, it would be great to port it to mobile :)
