I loved how you really spend a lot of attention on providing almost everything with text. The colors were a bit to chaotic for me, but other than that, well made!

Above all else - story and text in general are great (even each closed door has it's own text - that's dedication!). I liked music, but it has some too high notes in town (imo).
Aw man, i want to know more about moresouls and help all the lessirs now!
Overall a really cool idea! And it seems insane you made this polished a game for the jam! Great work! :D
Wasn't entirely sure what to do though, also would be great to have a web build or a windows build which you don't need to install anything to your computer with!
Thanks a lot for giving my game a go, I'm glad you liked the idea I had!
I agree that it would be a better playing experience if it were available to play on a web browser and I'll continue to look into it. I'm also currently working on bettering the directions given to the player and gameplay in general. Thanks for your feedback, I really appreciate it!
I loved your art style a lot. I felt like the whole game was too long but then again that just shows how much work was put into it. The colors were great but sometimes in some areas (The dark area) it felt like there was, well I can't describe it but like, too many colors. But I think that was intended to show that there was something wrong in that area. I liked your game. Thanks for submitting it!
Please take some time to play and rate my game as well! Thanks!
Thanks a lot for playing! I'll definitely give your game a go!
I'm glad you like the art style! The game is indeed probably too long for a jam like this, so I'll keep it in mind for future jams of this nature. The dark part of the forest is supposed to show that something is wrong there, though I may try to reorganize the placements of the trees and such so it's easier to navigate through without being too confusing. All in all, thanks for your feedback!
I love the colors! the only improvement would be to make it play in your browser!
I see a lot of comments mentioning the intro being too long, but I thought it was fine? The writing was good, and I was intrigued by the lore. One thing, I found the transition from the narrator to the player's simple dialogue style pretty jarring. As this is an RPG maker game, the gameplay was pretty bland, but I didn't mind that as the art style is great and colorful, and the intrigue was interesting enough to make me want to carry on :)
The installer was unnecessarily complicated imo, I hope you'll find a way to figure out how to have your game launch from an exe or web browser, it's easy for player to lose interest if the process to get to play is complicated (for instance my game for this jam has like 90 browser plays but only 2 windows build download lol)
All in all, yeah, it seems like your project grew way out of scope for this jam, as I'm not sure 2 additional days would've been enough to get everything done. I want to emphasize I think your stuff has a lot of potential story-wise, and it's more about getting the skills to have it told as smoothly as possible. I still enjoyed it, and I'm sure the next one you make will be even better :)
Thanks a lot for your feedback, I really appreciate it and will definitely take it in to better this game and future projects!
I'll continue to look into making my game easier to run and play as well as working to better plan what I can and can't do for jams like this! I thank you for taking the time to play even though there were some hoops to jump into!
Really cool! I like the crazy environment and colors. The introduction monologue could have benefitted from being a bit shorter, though. Overall great game!
I like the ambiance and aestetic are good. Perhaps too much talk for a game jam game. Though nice job.
The style and music was really cute! I got lost quite quick though, below a video review.

Thank you so much for your review, and sorry for the download scare! The program I use to make my game doesn't export as an .exe but instead has the player download RTP/runtime package to be able to read and open the game. Not a virus I can assure you haha! After the rating week I'll definitely work on better guidance and clearer paths for for the game!
EDIT: I found out exactly what the download was.
Nice game. Really enjoyed the art and huge props for interesting lore.
Pretty much what Enchessency already said: The game is weirdly cute, and the game is a bit confusing, but overall i really liked it!! Also, you should give better directions to the player, because i was lost on how to progress for 5 whole minutes :3
I really like your weird and trippy aesthetic. I also really liked the dialog when I was knocking on doors. The main character is pretty cute and looks good in battle and dialog bubbles.
I found the map design pretty confusing though. I wasn't able to figure out where I needed to go. Music was also pretty overwhelming.
