Wow some very amazing under water visuals i liked it good replay value to, i love the less light = more shoot speed and the check points so i dont need to start all the way at wave 1 my only problem is the camera was to smooth and made it hard to position my mouse just right while moving cuz i would move and the screen would move slowly making my mouse closer to the player or further so something to fix that could ether be to fallow the player exactly or fallow both the player and mouse. other than that well made game very impressive!

The best visuals I've seen in the jam so far. Really great atmosphere. The gameplay was really juicy with a lot of really great particle effects. Had a lot of fun!

I loved the bloom you used here. It just looked so mysterious and colorful. The Particle effects were amazing as well. That balance between visibility and fire rate was an amazing innovation. The game feel of this game was amazing. This all was so original in my opinion, It must have taken a ton of time and everything just worked with each other creating a wonderful experience. Thanks for this amazing game!!

I love the particle effects, especially of the bubbles. They give the game so much depth.  Also very cool ideas for enemys, and the main mechanic is amazing. Very well done!

That's so cool and polished!

The first thing a thought after openning the game: Wow, sound is amazing

Visuals are great, enemies are interesting

And with that light mechanic it gets so much interesting to play!

So far the most polished game i have seen. It is insanely pollished with an amazing atmosphere. If there were more content and an actual goal i could easily see this on steam for 15 bucks. Great job.

Really cool game. Wouldve loved to see more feedback from hitting an enemy though. Possibly some camera shake or a sound effect. Also, i just kept swimming all the way down and probably couldve continued to do so without dying for a very very long time.

There is a sound effect but the doppler effect settings are not right (too loud at short distance, inaudible at long distance).

And yes, if you keep running away you can survive very long, but the goal of the game is to kill ennemies. Running away is only usefull to get new pickups (heal for example).

Totally loved the game. The best part for me was that lost feeling at the beginning and then the bullets appeared and the underwater creatures. The ambient sound effects only added to the gameplay. I actually have played a very similar game but while that was more like energetic and thrilling experience, I must admit that I totally loved your muted and calm version. Kudos! Also those crawling fish creatures loo totally breathtaking.

The controls seemed a bit snoopy at first but I totally understand how that emphasizes the gameplay and kinda gives you an underwater vibe.

What a fun game ! The level of polish is incredible, this is so juicy :)

The light effects work really well : on top of being nice to look at they bring a real feeling of claustrophobia.

The gameplay is also super fun and the trade off between getting health and doing a lot of damages if very cool.

Thank you!

I used the 2D render pipeline with bloom postprocessing and a custom shader that output HDR colors. Brakeys has a tutorial about it.

It's like a mashup of Geometry Wars and Flow. The art and sounds are super clean and well made. I also really like the mechanic of sacrificing visibility for fire rate. Nothing bad I can say about it, overall great game!
