It's super chill, the music really fits the tone of the game. The concepts also really cool, but I'd like to see some more stuff to discover in the environment. But I understand that it's a jam game, so that might've been a little tough, so I'd love to see that if you were to expand on this game in the future :D

Developer

Thanks! yeah, time was the issue haha.

I agree with other people, that this game is relaxing. In such game music has a big role and music here was really good. As an advice, this game makes me wanna find some secrets and mysteries and I believe, that this big ship in the dessert can become some object of player's exploration.

btw, sun follows cursor. kek

Yeaaahhh.. haha. Thanks!

Very relaxing game, just walking around and maintaining the plants gives so much zen, it really hit the spot for me.

Developer

Thanks! Glad it could Zen you out lol

I really liked the environment and atmosphere you created, and the music also great!

Thanks!

I enjoy how much atmosphere you managed to create with so few things. The use of sound and music was excellent (though I rated them low to reward those that made their own), and the minimalist yellow color palette highlighted the green plants well.

The core gameplay loop could use some ironing. Each time the player has to journey further from the base camp, meaning they can bring in less water as a function of time. Since the plants seemingly consume more water than they produce, this means that the player's garden seems to inevitable wilt away. There was also some acceleration at the starts and ends of movement, which didn't feel great to me.

It's a strong idea, and you nailed the aesthetics. Just keep working on gameplay and you've got great projects ahead in your future!

Developer

Thanks! I'm glad you could enjoy it. Completely agree with the ironing out.

Nice game, good graphics, but with a few bugs. e.g. I could get my hydration over 100%. But one of the best games i've tried yet. I could play this for hours.

Developer

Thanks :) yeah, some of the bugs I saw I decided to keep in lol. That one in particular I was thinking like forgiveness points because otherwise, I was going to make it so stuff above 100 was lost.

Nice simple game, I enjoyed the ambient piano music, reminded me of minecraft.

Developer

Thanks! Interesting connection.

That was a pleasant experience. Ultimately, it was very relaxing.

Developer

Nice! that's what I was going for.

I really liked the concept . The music and visuals were awesome and the game was super relaxing. Great atmosphere! As some other people mentioned the mouse sensitivity was a little high, but other than that great game!

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, gotta look into that haha. What browser/os were you playing on?

What a cool concept and implementation of the theme. The relaxing music in the background gave the feel of being abandoned and being so alone. The plants growing into trees and managing the whole space with how much water you want to keep and use was really good too. Even though I wasn't good at it I would love to see someone being able to make a forest out of the wasteland.

I would really appreciate it if you could Play and Rate my game too. Thanks!

Developer

Thanks! Glad you liked it. As of now, it's not balanced so eventually, there will be no more water to survive with :) good thought for an eventual goal though.

The game is so relaxing, and the music... gosh, don't even let me start on that one... I wish that there was some lore/story scattered around the world instead of just water tanks tho, the world felt a little bit repetitive and empty after a while (or maybe i didn't explored well enough :/)

Ps. 5 stars

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Ran out of time lol. I really wanted to make it so you could go into the really large ship and add more lore in the desert. Maybe after the jam.

Nice concept, really fits the theme

Could you add a mouse sensitivity setting ? I played on small screen and it was a bit crazy)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! I'll have to look into it. I had someone else tell me the same thing.

Criticism - When the plants grow up the water balls sometimes roll away which makes them harder to find.

Support - The gameplay, implementation of the theme, and the idea itself were all super neat and super calming, and satisfying.  I liked how there were water tanks placed far out so you have to make decisions whether or not to risk leaving your plants to die to get more water.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I actually initially had the water balls as squares but changed it at the last minute lol. I'll probably make a custom model that is less rolly.
