Like the art style. I assume these asteroids are 3D models in 2D game. It has to be really tough to make it. Well done!
Thanks for the feedback! Everything in are 3D-Models. It wasn't actually that hard. I just added 2D-Colliders and 2D-Physics to the 3D models.
Really neat game dude! The visuals are really good! and the fact you added multiplayer is really something! The music was ok and the sound effects were pretty good. All around cool game and i enjoyed playing it!
definite nostalgia, good music, could have benefited from better mixing but i do understand you were crunched for time. Could have benefited from some pew pew sounds or something. I try to do a loop for music and then focus on sfx so i have music but can come back to it if i have time, yet still have audio for everything or most everything. Consider that approach in the future maybe? The art was perfect. I was pretty invested in the gameplay too!
This reminded me so much of an MDOS game I used to play with my brother. I Loved it. It was nostalgia polished for the new generation. The idea to increase the power on less health wasn't new. But the way you implemented it was the real cake. It would increase the number of Lasers per second, then the number of blasts and at last, there was just a freaking shower of bullets. When that happened, I was like YEAHHHH NOW WE TALKING!!! You took the long way instead of just increasing some number, unlike even some AAA games (Ahem.. Avengers.. Ahem.. ). I just loved playing your game. Precise, Fun, and Nostalgia ride. Thanks for this game!
Please play and rate my game as well. Thanks a lot!
Thanks for the great feedback! It means a lot to me.
Love the ship controls and graphics! Quite easy and I would make it hard. Still, do make it like mine :) I am getting comments its to hard. Try it out if you feel like. Cheers! and Good job! I rated your game :)
sorry, no mac version here, only windows. I will play your game when I have access to a windows computer later this week.
In the meantime, I'd appreciate it if you could play/rate my game as well! :)
Sorry for that. I thought Unity said, that it is playable on both. I will change the games page now.
just played it on my windows, this was really cool! You're game is SUPER underrated, it's a really solid submission and more people should be playing it, imo. Visually it looks great and game mechanics are easy to use! My only critique is that's almost too easy! Would love it to get progressive harder with more enemies incoming. Overall, great work!
pretty gameplay and graphics, try mine Rate cubic sword game by EM for Blackthornprod GAME JAM #3 - itch.io
A very solid entry.
The particle and sounds effects are great!
The ship controls are very well made. It was cool to slalom between asteroids.
The ennemies spawn a bit slow to my taste, I like my shooters more intense! I had to let me die at some point. But anyway a game too easy is less a problem than a game too hard.
I would greatly apreciate it if you rate me back!
Thaks for the great feedback! My only playtesters were my parents and they don't know much about videogames. When they played it, it looked far to hard, so I made the Enemys spawn less frequently. When a played game myself, it was a bit Boeing and easy for me too. I think next time I am going to make an easy and a hard Mode, so that everybody is happy 😊.
But did you get to the first big Enemy? This is the moment when it gets a bit harder and the real fun starts. If not, I would definetly think it is worth a other try!
The big ennemies are those with the laser, right? They are not that dangerous as they are predictable, but the awesome sound effect make them scary, especially the first one. They are very well designed!
And of course I will rate your game back! 👍
Seems like a fun little arcade shooter!
