yeah the fish are just background so it’s not just an empty blue ocean. Probably would either add more sealife or make them interactable in some way in the future

Thanks for playing! :)

all good, I was able to see more of it on my other computer. The upgrades really make it easier to play for sure!

so that's just it, I couldn't read any of that because it was cut off. I guess that also included the player's health as well.

It probably has to do with the screen resolution of the UI. I can try again on my other computer later that has a different screen resolution.

it's a fine little game! The UI is a bit messed up in the upgrades panel, so I couldn't really buy any upgrades. And enemies take a LONG time to kill. I also think it would be nice to show the player's health as well, because at first I wasn't even sure the bullets did any damage. Good work!

the dialogue, art, and story are all good (a little dry for me because I don't understand the military lingo) but honestly, it was really boring to sit through. There wasn't enough to do in between the cut scenes, would have been nice to shoot down the enemies attacking the base, or solve a puzzle to get comms up and running. Not to mention, at the very end it frozen and there was no ending! Just froze on the date, which was a disappointment. This all sounds harsh, but just being honest. It needs a lot of work, but dialogue & story is something that most people don't do well, & you did, so props there for sure! Keep up the good work!

that’s actually a cool idea!

cool game! Art work is super cool and I love the color scheme here! Got both the good and bad ending, kinda wish there was more of a difference like...if in the bad ending the monster ate you or something. It's a lot of reading for sure, but it's an important part of the game which is good! Nice job!

cool little game! I like the different enemy types. Once I figured out I could just increase the fire rate and hold down the LMB, it was pretty easy. the mechanic is cool, I just think it needs a bit of polish to make it more fun (power ups or even limitations you could accidentally collect if you don't shoot them would be cool!) Personally, I don't think it fits the theme because LMB can be used to control multiple things on screen (which it does in this case) and in a way takes away from the restriction of the theme. I see where you were coming from using sliders and not buttons, but that's just my personal take on the theme. Overall, good work!

it's a nice little game! Having the how to play on the main menu screen is nice! I didn't realize that where you arm points is how you project yourself/shoot, so that took a minute to figure out. Once I did it was still kinda frustrating to have to wait until I hit a wall to turn the direction I needed to. Maybe have a way to manually flip when you need to (i.e click or double click, instead of charging). I also thinking using a keyboard key would have fit the theme better, but that's just a personal opinion. overall, good job!

nice little game! I really like having to focus on the two different sides & the glow effect on the player(s) is really nice! Gameplay is pretty simple, but you could easily expand on this in the future! Maybe fine a nicer color palette to use on https://lospec.com/palette-list ? That will really add to the visual polish of the game. Good work!

will definitely check out your game!

my general opinion is using the mouse for things like direction or camera movement is fine because it isn't a "button", but using the mouse buttons (LMB or RMB) is kinda a cop-out because they can be used to press multiple other buttons on screen. It take away from the challenge/restriction of the theme.

The mouse wheel is an unique control where yes it's a button, but still associated with the mouse as a whole, so it could still be used in the same way as LMB or RMB. You don't use it in that way, so I can see how it fits the theme. It's just my personal opinion & interpretation of the theme so people are welcome to disagree!

haha that’s awesome!!

yeah that’s a cool idea for sure!

cool idea! Was stuck on the last level as well, but figured it out by reading the comments! Cool little game you made, it's actually a really cool mechanic and with some more sounds and effects, it would be even better! Good job!

cool game! The mechanic of moving felt pretty good, but killing the enemies didn't seem as easy to do. I think it would have been better if the bullets killed the enemies, rather than the impact of falling on them. Every time I tried to do that, they usually got me first. But overall, good work!

cool game! Definitely has a nice retro theme to it with the art style and music/sounds! I like the unconventional mechanics you added to, definitely makes it more enjoyable to play & is pretty creative! Would have liked to to speed up faster, but otherwise good work!

cute game! the sounds really match well with the art style, but did get a bit annoying after a while, so glad you had a mute button! Would have fit the theme more if you used a keyboard key instead of the mouse button since, in my opinion, the mouse button could be used to press multiple things on screen and in a way functions as more than one button. Mechanic is really well done though & overall a good game for sure!

I'd appreciate it if you could play/rate my game as well! :)

I don't disagree with you & appreciate the feedback!

Beat all the levels! :) cool idea! Would have fit the theme more if you used a keyboard key instead of the mouse button since, in my opinion, the mouse button could be used to press multiple things on screen and in a way functions as more than one button. Level design is pretty good, just needs some polish on the art. Sounds were spot on too! Good work!

I'd appreciate it if you could play/rate my game as well! :)

cool game! definitely fits the theme and the mechanic is generally pretty easy to use. Some of the enemies come at you pretty fast, which is a bit tricky to try and move in time, especially when you can control the direction you may want to go in. But overall, good job!

thanks for playing! :)

was definitely going for a more causal gameplay experience!

really clever idea! I can't decide if it fits the theme or not though...since the mouse wheel isn't really a "button"...but it's definitely a more creative mechanic! Props on doing a 3D game! Good work!

I'd appreciate it if you could play/rate my game as well! :)

cool idea and super cute! Personally, this would fit the theme better if you used a keyboard key, instead of the mouse button (like space). Using the mouse button is kinda a cop-out in my opinion because it can be used to just press any button on the screen. Overall good job!

I'd appreciate it if you could play/rate my game as well! :)

definitely a different take on paper please adding the new rules. cool game! My memory sucks so I wasn't very good at it, but it's a cool take on the theme! The UI is a bit confusing, for example it says "pass" angry faces with an okay green button, but in my brain "pass" means "decline". I think you could just use the word "accept" instead or just have all the rules be negatives or something like that. Overall, good job!

I'd appreciate it if you could play/rate my game as well! :)
