Even with the saws and wall smacking (very funny sound effect by the way-) the atmosphere of the game was very pleasant and dreamy- the music especially was nice to listen to. A wonderful narrative to sit through as well!
Here's my game! It's an RPG that went out of scope for a jam like this and its very rough, but I ended up liking it so much that I'm reworking it and will proceed to develop it into its own thing! I've been taking in the feedback from this jam as well as an RPG forum to better it. I also made a video devlog for it!
It's not often that I come across a platformer with multiple endings. The movement is really smooth and encourages me to run around and explore. Very interesting game!
I really enjoyed the visual style and sounds of the game! I really like how the maze paths are revealed when you've travelled them, it's very helpful and doesn't confuse me to the point of getting stuck like in other maze games that stay dark throughout. Awesome job!
Such a cute game with a unique take on the jam theme! I loved running around with the little friends and restarting to hear from different ones. Fun experience!

Pretty cool game that fits the theme well. I had fun gathering items and making the Villies happy. The sound effects were pretty neat too! Awesome devlog as well!
This game is really smooth! Personally I have a tough time using keys next to WASD when those are primary keys, so it's difficult for me to properly use the dash with one hand, but then again, that's just me! Cool game either way!
I found this game really humorous and fun to play! I enjoyed reading the different dialogue given for the types of keys I used. A very creative idea, especially when only using one key! Nice game!
I LOVE the visuals! I'm very much a fan of Hotline Miami and its aesthetics and this game reminds me of it, especially with the top-down shooter mechanics! The character's dialogue was pretty fun to read for me too. Nice game!!
I really like the visuals and atmosphere of the game! The enemies are really cute, I don't want to hurt them- haha! I like the use of the player's and the enemies' attack strength being tied to your health. Cool game!
This is a really cool and creative game! I love the pixel art and the mechanics- it's one of those games that keeps me on the edge of my seat while I try to keep my head above lava!!

I'm glad you like the art style! The game is indeed probably too long for a jam like this, so I'll keep it in mind for future jams of this nature. The dark part of the forest is supposed to show that something is wrong there, though I may try to reorganize the placements of the trees and such so it's easier to navigate through without being too confusing. All in all, thanks for your feedback!
