Thank you!

Thanks

To be honest I haven't played factorio or satisfactory either. My main source of inspiration for this one was Human Resource Machine. And I'm surprised no one noticed/mentioned the similarity. Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you!

Thanks for your feedback!

Thnks!

I know about the bugs. Don't have time to fix them(

Thank you!

I assume on a lower resolution the game has less work to do so it's more likely to hit the correct spot by accident. I think from now on I will be enabling vsync in my games by default. But I'm not going to update KNG during the jam, obviously.

I was afraid everyone would interpret the theme the same way I did. But in the end we have so many different games!

The executable is small because I don't use game engines. Instead I use C and some libraries (raylib in this case). This approach is not that popular these days (because of game engine propaganda xD). But actually it saves time! Instead of fighting the engine to get what I want I can just write the code. "In the beginning you always want results, in the end all you want is control" (c) Eskil Steenberg

I don't have a 4K monitor to test this but I think your problem is related to vsync.

I'm glad you liked it!

That means I have won two times already!

A game about lowering your emotional range to the point where you need therapy.

A piece of art it is.

PS: don't use rar format as it's specific to WinRAR software. Use zip instead.

Please, add a premade camera rotation on checkpoints, so the player can see the path after respawning (instead of the black void).

Everything else works great! Including the narrative. Great job!

I have 5 FPS... Sad.

PS: There is nothing wrong with my PC! It's just the game so unoptimized.

Looks amazing!

Interesting idea. Good graphics. Okay music.

The collision detection is just terrible.

Why when I lose a level it sends me back to the first level?! Playing the same levels over and over again is boring. And in combination with the junky collisions it feels unfair, undeserved. (rage quit +1)

Thank you!

The visuals are well made. The gameplay is fine. But how the game communicates to the player is just awful.

I found a locked door. After collecting things in different rooms I returned to that door and suddenly it open. I assume I found the key but there is no indication of it anywhere. What I want is a giant image of a key on the screen to show me that I have it in my inventory!

The first time I encountered the monster - felt right. But the number of them increased too quickly. And the fact that I need to do the key finding over and over again just to get another try with the monsters was SO ANNOYING. (rage quit +1)

One of the best games we have in this jam. The dialogues made me giggle! The fact that you can throw passengers overboard is ridiculous!

The music though is too calm and doesn't match the situation.

I'm surprised I'm the first who comment here. This game deserves more attention.

I'm glad you had fun!

In fact, it's possible to beat the game with every combination of items, but in some cases a pixel perfect jump is required (which I only discovered after the deadline and didn't have time to fix it).

rar... really?

Anyway. The game looks great (except for the driving part, driving part sucks). Story and choices are heartwarming. And when the "obstril" interrupted the gameplay that felt so real. I want more of it (except for the driving part, driving part sucks).

I'm not trying to say that you should remove the driving part of the gameplay, but you definitely should)

Great work here! Graphics, mechanics, sounds, all good.

BUG found: you can trigger freezing mode and not untrigger it when you return home.

PS: Please, use .zip format instead of .rar, because .rar is specific to WinRAR software and it is not available to everyone.

What with the controls? The main character moves diagonally when I press up.

Looks amazing! But it's not always clear what elements are background and what are foreground. For example, the grid fence at the start looks like it's on the background, but no, you can't go through it. When at the same time the boxes look like you can jump on them, but no, it's just a background.

4 FPS in browser.

It gives me the vibes of "This War of Mine". But there are several problems:

  • Days end unexpectedly. There is no indicator/clock to see how much time is left until the next day.
  • "Messages" and "Provision" is something I wanna see all the time and not by constantly switching back and forth between tabs.
  • It's unclear what's going on. What are the consequences of my actions.

The attack button (S/Space) is currently useless and it's possible to beat the game without it. I understand that the author didn't have time to make more levels, but at least one use for it in the first level would fix that.

Other than that, it's a nice little game.

Thank you!

Thanks!

I like it.

Finally a game where getting 1 on a dice is a good thing. Overall it's just an RNG gameplay, no skill required.

The only playable character is the guy with the lantern. Without that lantern I can't see a thing. It's so dark! Why making such a good pixel art and then setting the darkness to 99%?

Softlock found. The character just stuck there! Switching characters doesn't help. The only way out is to restart the game.

It's fun to race all over the place! But car's health drops so fast. Maybe it would be better if the car was invincible or at least with some sort of shield ability that temporary gives you invincibility when you hold a button (similar to how nitro works).

Looks amazing! Some text in the game is not localized (hoch dlia mene tse i ne problema). By going slightly diagonal you can avoid most of the asteroids and win almost AFK. Unfortunately it seems like detaching parts of the ship is a bad strategy as you become vulnerable to asteroids and/or your main engine stops working (99% risk and 1% reward).

Remembering controls hurts my brain. What letter for what item... it would be easier if the game had a hotbar like in Minecraft where you can choose an item by pressing numbers 1-9 and Q to through it away. Or at least display a keyboard hint near each item during the game. Half of the time I just press the wrong key and get not what I wanted. Everything else is fine... I guess you can also improve the look of the main character.

Cool.
