Very fun game! Loved the cutscenes and the sound effects. The levels are quite clever, especially the last one with the catapult. Congrats!

THank you!! :-)

Wasn't supposed to happen. Try reloading and hitting the fullscreen buttons and, if nothing works, downloading the .zip. By the way, could you provide me the name of your operating system (Windows, MacOS, Linux...) and browser (Chrome, Firefox...)?

Descoping was the right decision. You've shown a promising idea, and that's more than enough for a game jam. Good luck with your main project, btw!

Wow, this was IMPRESSIVE! I really enjoyed it; played all of the levels. The soundtrack is very good and so is the art, which is bizarre enough to be appealing but not too much as to become uncanny. The puzzles are very well designed, too.  Level 8 was the hardest for me. Totally on theme. One question, though... why can I place those things that re-direct light by right-clicking? :P Congrats, excellent submisison.

Oh, I really liked this one. The character design is very good, although I wish it was more visible in-game, and the concept is very clever, especially with the team members talking to each other like they're playing an MMO. The tutorial was a helpful little touch, but I feel not starting with all three allies would further help guide players throughout the game. I hope the idea gets expanded upon after the jam is over! Great job!

The game would be easier to understand with a tutorial, and I can't see the theme clearly enough. However, I think your menus are very polished for a jam game, the music was of perfect choice and the artwork is very cute.  Good job! Waiting for a post-jam update!

Great job for your first game! I like how the parkour feels, but it could be more forgiving.

Went to the comment section and found out I wasn't the only one who discovered the corner exploit! Your game needs to incentivize the player to keep moving around somehow, so that you force them to interact with this neat mechanic you came up with. The art needs more practice, but it's a good start, and I'd prefer if it wasn't that zoomed out. Overall though, it's a cool game that has potential. Congrats!

That main menu music with the morse-code-like beeps is so good! And the game is quite fun too. Well done.

I liked the concept and how the last boss is a combination of the other three, but I'd prefer faster movement and some visual feedback for the enemies getting hurt. I also couldn't get the dash and the health potion [?] to work. Overall though, nice game!

Controls are janky, but the game is overall well executed. Wish it had some form of difficulty scaling though, like speeding up enemies or their fire rate as your score goes up to keep things fresh. And it is laggy, did you not make bullets get destroyed after getting off-screen?

All in all, good game! I had fun playing it.

Thanks a lot! I agree that the boss was harder than it should and that the timer may need to go.

This game is very fun, got me engaged! Amazing visuals, as always. Maybe it was just me, but could be less difficult. Totally on theme. Overall, amazing submission!

Yep, I wish I had made combat less about running away. I was going to put in more enemy types, but time got me first.

That's no cheating, the game can be played in any way you like :-) And yes, it is possible to win the boss battle, but I'll agree that it's much harder than it should.

Randomly generated 3D terrain for your first game jam? That was brave =)
There's not much to do in the game, but I think you now learned a good lesson in scoping.  Curious to see what games you will come up with in the future!

Very good visuals and music, lots of character there. Well done puzzles too, but the mechanics could've been introduced more clearly, imo. Anyway, great submission.

Amazing intro. The sprites' art styles sometimes clash with one another, but there's some good ones. I just couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do :\

This is some avant-garde stuff. Very atmospheric. If you expand upon it in the future, it can very much become a great game about self-discovery. Intriguing.

lmao I didn't hit play expecting to beat up Pongles and Wesley. Funny game, but could've been harder imo.  The music is very fitting and could be improved if extended a bit to decrease repetition. Good game!

That's a shame! The game is about killing enemies on time not to lose HP,  which in turn makes you go from a ghost all the way to a human. Thanks for the comment!

Thanks a lot for your comment, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Fun fact: there is actually a slight difference of speed between the different forms: ghost > skeleton > zombie = human, but it's so little it's barely noticeable haha

Thanks for the suggestion. And yes, I will probably update it after the jam in one way or another. :-)

I love the art, music and sound design! The gameplay is engaging and everything feels polished,  but those cogs are the bane of my existance. I was going to ask about the special power, but I've seen you already answered that! Good game, fits the theme, could benefit from more variety.

Thanks for the comment! I have a problem with balancing, so I completely agree with you. The timer is supposed to be very short so that the player has to be constantly fighting and adapting their play style, but apparently it didn't work out as well as I hoped.

Hello early birds

Thank you really much for the comment! I am so happy seeing you had a good time with the game; this kind of thing makes me want to keep doing this. The criticisms I received were very deserved though, especially concerning the learning curve, so I'm hoping to get that fixed on a possible full release in the future.

A twist on the pac-man formula! Unexpected and promising. The graphics are very cute, I would love to see more levels! Great job.

Sign me in!

Movement is a tad slippery, but the puzzles are fun and well designed; they introduce the mechanics in an easy and clever way.  I only felt overwhelmed by the difficulty when level 10 loaded haha. Great game, good job!

Mine is also a puzzle platformer, in case you want to check it out.

The art was interesting, but I wish there was some enemies/obstacles and an outrun soundtrack

Simple and fun! Always nice to see a chicken conga line. Clever gameplay.

Fun and quick to play, I like it. The cave collapsing is also an interesting mechanic. What killed me the most was entering a room and getting shot immediately. Overall though, great job!

Hope you'll check out my game too!

Extremely fun and to the point. I love it.

Hahaha that exploit on level 3 was discovered by my girlfriend like an hour after I launched the game... Not the solution I thought of, but definetly the most fun one (I won't even mention the flying by smashing your head on the ceiling "mechanic"). I agree with your criticisms, some jumps were made harder than they needed to for no particular reason. And yes, the off-screen moments in level 4 weren't on purpose, just the unfortunate way I set up some colliders. Thank you for the feedback, I really appreciate it!

Fun game. Didn't quite understand what the bathers were doing, but their color changes sometimes made ir hard to identify if bombs were about to explode or not. I almost got all nine! Cute creature designs and art. Well done.

Please check out my game if you feel like it!

Why hadn't I heard of this one before? It's very good, I like it a lot. The music fits very well, until it climaxes and gets a bit too loud. The grappling hook is very fun to use!

The game is perhaps too big for a game jam, but I could totally see myself playing a full, fleshed out version.

I'll say that it's hard to notice the spikes sometimes and I'd enjoy if some of the bigger and more challenging rooms would not spawn you at the entrance every time.

Still, great game! I enjoyed it a lot.
