  • Very professional looking game. A unique visual style within the jam. Music was relaxing yet appropriate for the game flow. A very epic opening story, good job. I was pleased with the difficulty progression. There was a very nice use of a variety of mechanics and they were laid out in appropriate level progression. One thing I will say is that I was not prepared to kill baby plants, that one took me by surprise. Obviously your team is high quality and it shows. Good job.
  • A wonderfully corny game with some really solid puzzle mechanics. I can't really criticize the game in any meaningful way, the only thing I can think of that might improve the game is an undo button.

Wow, this was IMPRESSIVE! I really enjoyed it; played all of the levels. The soundtrack is very good and so is the art, which is bizarre enough to be appealing but not too much as to become uncanny. The puzzles are very well designed, too.  Level 8 was the hardest for me. Totally on theme. One question, though... why can I place those things that re-direct light by right-clicking? :P Congrats, excellent submisison.

Ah crud meant to take that out lol you probably can break the puzzles fairly easily with that. It was to help debug and design puzzles :)

So glad you enjoyed it! And thanks so much for the kind words!

Holy shit this was literally perfect. The adorable superhero story, the graphics, the incredible soundtrack, the difficulty curve, even in the UI is incredibly polished. The pacing of moving between simple tutorial puzzles and harder puzzles that take the training wheels off reminded me of Portal in a fantastic way. This is the second game I've played that I wouldn't be surprised to see come in first!

This was a super cool game! The visual style and gameplay reminded me a lot of early PC puzzle games, it felt very nostalgic. I thought the puzzles were also very well designed as well! Tricky without being too frustrating. The longest a level took me was the last one which I think shows a good difficulty curve.  A small change I would like to see would be like an arrow that pops up or something to simulate where a laser is going to turn before you do it. I realize they always go counterclockwise, but it's just one of those things where you figure out a puzzle and are so excited about a solution you slip up and rotate it while standing on the wrong side and have to start over. Just mildly frustrating. But overall, a very impressive job!

Thanks for making it to the end and thanks so much for the feedback! That’s an excellent idea, I think it’s totally doable and would add to the game.

the production value on this game is incredible. It looks and sounds great!

Not normally a fan of light puzzles, but I enjoyed this. Some of the puzzles were real head scratchers but always fun to solve. And what a name!

Wow this was a great game! That music!!!! It's stuck in my head! Super polished and really fun to play. Just enough head scratching to get me wound up, but not enough to make me bang at the keyboard. Great sound design and those damn baby flowers! It had me till I completed and saved the flowerverse. Good stuff!

Developer

Thanks checking it out and playing, awesome to hear you played through and saved the flowerverse :D

Thanks so much! The music was a lot of fun to write and I've been wanting to make something similar to this style for a long time. Great job for finishing it! I'm glad we were able to stump you at least momentarily :)
