Great ball mechanic :), once i figured out how to work it :D,.. re-reading the instructions helped :D.

Really nice feel, look and vibe to the game.
Yeah missing music/SFX, but that's something that will take this game up a notch as you move it on.
Great job! well done!

Some indication which level you enter and which level you managed to reach in the level selection screen would be nice.

(And of course some sound effects...)

Developer(+1)

It's on my checklist, sir!

(And thanks for playing...)

Nice game, I did get stuck in the level though and couldn't find a way out, but the art and style of the game are great. well done

Developer

Ah, sorry about that! You can press R to reset the level if you got stuck ('o_o)

Thanks for playing, though!

Really nice game! Loved the visuals, the puzzle mechanic and the way the story evolves! Good job! (and nice particles!!)

Fun game, smarpuzzle.

I enjoyed all the levels. I can't judge you for the lack of sounds since my game has barely any sounds due to lack of time as well. My only minor criticism is that the ball is perhaps a bit too bouncy as sometimes the skill shots felt quite luck-based.

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thanks for playing!

I was wondering why no one pointed out how hyperactive the ball is, but I do agree it's a bit too bouncy, although I don't think I will change it since it's really difficult to properly balance bounciness in Unity.

Thanks for the feedback!

I love this so much! Awesome job with the mechanics and aesthetics. Obviously sound would have been great, but every other aspect of this game is so well made! So I didn't mind.

really clever puzzle!

This is amazing. The only criticism I have and maybe its just I couldnt figure it out, but the level with the opening text "I give up" the collectible that's at the top left where it is blocked by the orange squares, I tried shooting it with the ball at different positions, angles, and power for 5 minutes and wasn't able to get it.

Developer(+1)

The level with the text "I give up" is actually the last level, but I might've made the shot a bit too difficult ('o_o)

Thanks for playing tho :D

Wow, a very polished game! Mechanics and controls all feel great, the puzzles are satisfying to solve, and it looks great visually. Some audio would be the icing on the cake! Good job on the submission  😎

Wow Great! This feels so polished and it's so much fun to play!  The only thing missing is audio, that would have made it a 10/10 for me.

I also like what you did with the Thank You screen and the main menu :)

Great job!

Wow, I really liked this. Everything's so smooth. The movement, the shooting fireball mechanics, and the various particle effects. I also really dig the art style. The glowing blue and red are amazing to look at. The level puzzles are challenging but not too difficult and slowly eases you into more complex levels.

I assume because of the timeframe we had, you weren't able to implement audio? That's understandable. You have a really good game here, though. It's super fun.

Developer

I had a fully working audio manager, but I couldn't make sound effects on time ('-.-)

Thanks for playing & for the feedback :D

Loved the mechanic! and was amazed by the amount of levels, it was really addicting and fun! Add some sound and music and it will be even more awesome :) Congratulations!

Woah nice visuals and some pretty clever and fun puzzle ideas. I thought the story was touching and intriguing as well!

This was a fun and pretty game! I liked the simple yet effective colour palette you used, and I found the mechanics fun and satisfying :D well done!

Developer

Despite using a 126 color pallete, thanks for the complement XD

Thanks for playing!

Like the puzzles a lot! It just stress me the fact that the HUD don't fit the screen, full screen mode or not and there's no reset buttom, iwasn't paying attention what number the fase was so it took me a while to find wehere I stopped

And last, the aim don't go away after the shoot, maybe just a bug.

Miss some music to go along, so i played my own lol Love the aesthetics, the particles, the effects and the gameplay!

Developer

Hey, thanks for playing!

There isn't much in the HUD other than the settings button, but I still need to look into that, what's your screen resolution? Maybe it affects the HUD?

You can actually reset the level with "R", and open the settings with "P", they aren't stated in the game only in description sorry... ('-_-)

also I didn't exactly understand what you meant by "iwasn't paying attention what number the fase was so it took me a while to find wehere I stopped" can you please clarify?

Thanks for the feedback tho, helps a lot :D

Thanks for the reply! :3

Well the stages got their number (0,1,2,3,4,..) right? so since i didn't know about the reset button (jumped in the game, didn't read de description lol) i went to select the stage  after a sweet soft block and it took me a while to realize what was the stage i was in, but maybe i'm just dumb

My resolution is 1440x900
I really enjoyed playing your game :3

ps: srry the shitty english in my previous comment, i just so tired i'm mixing everything, I'm brazilian btw =)

Developer(+1)

That brings up a good point, I have a level select menu, but you can't tell which level you are in ('o_o)

i probably also need to add a proper control guide in the game.

Thanks again for your valuable feedback and don't worry about your English, I'm not a native speaker either (I use a grammar checker all the time ('o_o) )

Loved this one, most addictive submission I've seen so far.  The mechanics are nice, I like how you can use the player to steer the ball when it's boucing around. Had issues getting into fullscreen at all in firefox, but it worked in Edge. Nice contrast with the pixel art style and the smooth particle effects. Sound would be great, as others have mentioned :)

Submitted(+1)

Really nice game! I really liked the puzzles, the controls felt good and the visuals are easy to understand.

Submitted(+1)

Great work! Really nice VFX, quite a few interesting mechanics and more levels than I expected in a jam submission xD

Submitted (1 edit) (+1)

Congrats on completing the jam! I liked the mechanic and that the levels were short and quick to play through and still managed to have a new mechanic or twist to each. I liked how the hands trailed behind the character as it moved. The game kept forcing itself to fullscreen repeatedly on every level transition and didn't seem to handle non-fullscreen resolutions well. SFX/music would have been a good add.

Developer

Thanks for playing!

I really need to fix that full-screen bug ('o_o) sorry about that..

Thanks for the feedback :D
