Really fun and relaxing. I think the concept is simple but it gets the job done. Definetively one of the top entries of the jam. I played till the end, i earned my wings. Feel free to play my game ;)
This was a fun clicker game, albeit a bit short. I was having fun and wanted more. The art was cute and worked together in harmony, the only thing that could have used a face lift was the UI. Felt a bit flat compared to the rest. Overall this was a solid, complete, and fun entry. Great work guys!
Glad to hear you enjoyed it! It's important in a game jam to keep the game short enough, or else most folks lose interest - especially when there are another 950 other games to play!
I would've loved to have the time to spend more time on the UI, but always have to cut some corners in a game jam.
I enjoyed the mechanics and music, though I don't normally care much for clicker games, this one is pretty good, especially for a game jam game. Good job!
Short but cool. A nice idle game.
Great job! It reminded me a little bit of the paper clip game, but much, much nicer to look at.
One thing that might make it more interesting to play would be to explain more what different things do. For example, "A" improves happiness by X now, but "B" improves happiness by 2x one minute later, and "C" doesn't improve happiness at all, but increases the click rate by Y, while "D" increases it by 2Y for a limited time. Anyway, great job!
Excellent game, in all aspects.
It's nice to see a game based on the idea of happiness in heaven. I've seen so many jam entries about zombies or killing enemies that this game is a nice change.
Nice idle clicker game.
Nice and relaxing music.
Nicely follows the jam theme.
I spent way longer than I expected making this "nice" meme. XD
HA, Nice :P
Interesting little game. I never played a clicker game before, but I got to the end, and it was quite satisfying!
Cool clicker game implementation. My new mouse really wants to thank you for including the auto-click functionality! Good job!
Some feedback: the invest button was always enable and clickable, even if you do not have the necessary money. I didn't know what it was for, because there is no description. I also didn't know what the upgrades in the top bar (the small ones in squares) do.
If I could only take the happiness from the game :D Well done!
Love the sound and the graphics, but my finger hurts!
lol sorry about your finger! there is an auto-clicker in the option that would help with that. Glad you enjoyed the sound and graphics
"Investing" was a bit underwhelming... Except for the finishing condition it didn't seem to have any effect besides sucking some of the player's score...
I hadn't played clicker games in years. I'd forgotten how addictive they can be, but thankfully this one was short so I was able to break free. I loved the music. My only suggestion is to add bonuses for clicking so it can remain viable beyond the 1st minute.
really interesting consept. the game caught my interest. watching the increasing of happines was very satisfying. congrasts for submission
It's nice to see a clicker game made for a game jam entry! Very cute theme and flavour text on the purchases.
I love the atmosphere the game carefully establishes, and that it tells you the projected playtime. Very helpful and well thought out!
It's lovely that you included an auto-click option. Very good for accessibility!
I also love that the environment gradually builds up as you purchase new things. It makes progress more satisfying.
Wonderful music too--very laid back and uplifting.
Very nice entry, well done!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it so much!
You're welcome, and me too! :)
A
damndarn fine clicker gameI see what you did there
Fun game. I've always enjoyed clicker games. My very first game I made was an incremental game, I really liked that you had unlockable upgrades that appeared after collecting 50 of a certain tool.
Great job and congrats of your submission!
A very adorable game! It just makes you joy!
just 2 small things: clicking feels pointles way to fast and the art detail is irregular.
its still a fun lidle game wich made my day!
A fantastic idle game!
It has everything you'd ask for in such a game, a banger music (please release the soundtrack), balanced progression, lots of upgrades, and a nice relaxing story with it.
There were only 2 things that bugged me about it:
First: the lack of interaction, aside from the beginning, clicking is just not efficient, this could easily be fixed with an upgrade that boosts clicking power, it would spice up the gameplay and give me something to do while waiting for happiness to collect.
Second: I wished I could see the creatures I get on the screen, it's not the biggest thing in the world I know, and I understand that it would add a lot of work to it, it's something I really want to see considering how many of them I got ('o_o)
All in all, this is an excellent entry, and can easily turn into a mobile game, it's worth playing not just as a jam game, but as an actual fully fleshed out game. Dev team did great on this entry :D
Thanks for playing!
Both of the things you mention were things we wanted to do but didn't have time to add. Always the way with jam games, especially since the whole team lost 3 days to a power/internet outage in our city.
I have good news for you about the music! It's available on YouTube. A friend likes to make video game music in his spare time and comes up with some really good tunes: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwiAJiKkDRyvkzpQ_ddEF4Q
Great job! Fun and relaxing idle game.
