When the thing in the room popped up it caught me off guard lol. It'd be nice if there was a way to make the mouse move faster.

Yeah I spent to much time building systems and ran out of time to make the rest of the world match the art style I was going for. It's a good example of scope creep and how it can take over. Thank you for playing!

Thank you :), I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I thought this game was a lot of fun! Took me a second to realize I had to lick the butterflies to switch dimensions, I was wondering why I couldn't eat them lol. At first I also kept trying to pull the log with my tongue but I figured it out.  Oh, and the whole Right to Left instead of Left to Right platforming messed with my head a bit lol. The art style is really charming and felt like an old SNES platformer.  The custom mouse pointer was the cherry on top! Great job guys!

Thank you! I had bigger plans for the reaper at the beach, I wanted to give him some shades and Hawaiian shirt lol, but I unfortunately ran out of time and had to slap that one together. I wish I could've spent more time balancing the upgrade system but I'm just glad I was able to get it to work since it was the first time I've made an upgrade system.

Thanks again for playing!

This game was a lot of fun to play! The Gnomeboy Garden Gnome was really cool and I like that you did all the assets yourself! The game is a bit easy though once you spam enough sun flowers. Maybe it would be better if they get eaten or wither? Either way I had a fun time, great job! Oh and the gnome has some serious dance moves haha.

Thank you! I'm glad you loved it :)

This was a lot of fun to play, I just wish it had some more levels cause I just wanted to keep going haha. The aesthetic was great and you nailed the looks! Great game :)

The delay was meant to be there but during testing I felt like it didn't work so I didn't take the time to remove it. I guess it does work just on the first net that is shot. The text has a "next" button at the bottom of the screen but in hindsight that is a terrible play for it to be, it would be better at the top with the rest of the dialogue. Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

Thanks for playing and I'm glad you have a great time :) I tried to do something interesting with the jump since he is a ghost. I wanted to add a lot more like a section where you play a frogger knockoff and get hit by a car before turning into a ghost, but my scope was too big for my skills. This is my first game jam and I'm a solo dev so I'm  just happy I managed to make something fun that has a beginning and an end lol. Thanks again for playing!

This was a fun clicker game, albeit a bit short. I was having fun and wanted more. The art was cute and worked together in harmony, the only thing that could have used a face lift was the UI. Felt a bit flat compared to the rest. Overall this was a solid, complete, and fun entry. Great work guys!

This was fun game, reminded me of the old AddictingGames/MaxGames games. The only real issue I had was zombies would sometimes spawn right on top of me which would kill me instantly. Maybe have a range to where they only spawn if the player is not within 2 feet or something. Another minor thing was I wish the map changed between levels, whether it is a new street entirely or this one is breaking down it would have been nice to see it change a bit. I enjoyed running around and spamming the shoot button haha. Tho the bullets would not go through coins, not sure if that was intended or not but that can be fixed with layers/tags. Overall this was a great game and I even managed to win :) Great work!

Who would have thought we'd get early access to the Undead Nightmare Stray game? This is a fun little game, albeit too easy. I found myself just running around looking for the guy with the top hat. I played a couple of times and he was always in the same spot. Currently I think you have a lot of good mechanics, the possession and the form changing. They just need a reason to be used. Maybe make some areas off limits unless you possess a guard? Also the combat is too easy, I just hit them once with my tail and they are dead, which could be fine if they had guns and were pressuring me to move quickly. Maybe have an enemy with a bat that takes 2/3 hits? The blocks are there but if feels like it was just plopped in to be there, which could work if the top hat guy had alternate spawn locations.  On the ending screen the buttons didn't work so I had to close it down and reopen it to play again. Also just wanted to add that the idea of a Purr Reaper is adorable, good job guys!

A health regen mechanic would have been a great way to do it and could've been worked into the story as ghost energy or something like that. Thanks for playing and I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it :)

Your the first player to mention the alternate endings. It makes me happy to hear you had enough fun to want to see them all :). I didn't do a volume slider because I am so use to just using the buttons on my mouse to control my PC audio and it didn't cross my mind that's not very common, I will definitely take the time in the future to add those options. Thank you for playing and the feedback!

This game was fun from the second I pressed play. The light and happy music coupled with the suddenly coming into frame was hilarious. The humor and tone of the game was great. I think there is a lot of potential with this idea, kinda like weekend at Bernie's meets an angry birds adventure game. The mechanic of dragging the body around was a lot of fun. Overall this game a treat to play, great work!

This was an excellent game! I really like how you turned connect four into a battle puzzler. The gameplay was really fun and the AI was smart with it's placement. The art style is the icing on the cake, felt like a storybook. The Phoenix was a great idea to go with, fits the theme perfect. My only complaint is I was looking forward to fighting the last guy but the story just ended there. Would have been an epic conclusion. Overall awesome work guys, you nailed it!

Thanks for both playing and the great feedback! The one you missed must have been in the canyon area that's below the floating platforms. There's is one on both ends of the bowl. The health system was put in really late and definitely needs more info. The way it works right now is 10 hits then you have to restart, but I realize the player has no way of knowing what they are even at to begin with. In the future I will add the player health and death mechanics earlier. Thanks again for playing and I'm glad you had fun!

I should've added what the almost part was for feedback purposes, my bad there. The only issue was the dead bodies I left behind would slide around too much and it would end up in spikes or acid because I fat fingered my jump. Maybe it would be better if they had more weight or you have to push against them for half a second before they budge? Either way the Zomployees did an excellent job and deserve a pizza party for all their hard work :)

This is a great little game! It felt like a mix of pacman and zelda, which was really fun. When I first heard the music it felt like I was in a jungle, after 3 minutes of it the tune started to get stale. Maybe a different track for each area would help spice it up. The enemy spawning at the worst times would result in me dying, maybe it'd feel more fair if they came from holes in the walls instead of spawning on the path itself. The character did feel a bit slippery when trying to turn around quickly. I slid into enemy quite a few times and I died(which is fine thanks to the potions). Wish there was a victory screen, I ran around for 5 minutes before I came and read the comments haha. Overall this was great little game! Oh and the big coin was really nice touch.

This game was super fun to play! I enjoyed the dialogue and the bonus level was nice touch as well. It would be nice to have some music but the SFX were good, just wish there was more them. Maybe add sounds for the different crystals when you place them and when they activate.  Also the hidden walls were awesome to stumble upon, made me question all the previous levels I had been on haha.

What are the odds that we both made a game about capturing souls. I like how your take was a puzzle game and you guys knocked it out of the park. Great job!

The vibe of this game is right on its mark. I loved the feel of it, the player is very responsive and the gun feels tactical {I.e. the particles when it hits something, the trail of the bullet, and the SFX) The visuals are also really well done and they compliment each other nicely. Once I started to get into the zone I'd realize there is only 5 seconds left. Makes me wish it was longer but that might make it stale so it is a hard balance. The game was fun and felt like a macabre version of whack-a-mole. Great work!

This was a fun little game!  It has a ton of room to be built upon if you wanted to continue. I really wanted to try out the elf with the bow. A store where we could by potions or even find potions from a special enemy drop would be cool. I could definitely see this game being on an arcade cabinet. Great work!

This game is really cool and I think it has a lot of potential. It took me a second to get use to the controls but once I figured it out I was gaming. Like others have said the artstyle is great and does an excellent job at recreating that old ninja gaiden style. I just wish there was music to go with it, the SFX are a great touch tho.

Unfortunately I didn't make it too far, I kept running out of Life Energy and my spirit would die. I take to much time when trying to decide my next move, so the timer is good at making me feel the pressure but for some reason after leaving a body I would have the same amount of time left as when I entered the body. It would be easier if it reset as you hopped from bodies. It looked like it was meant to do that because the energy bar kept flashing between both the current and the full values.

I think this idea has a lot of potential and could be expanded on. All in all this is a stellar submission guys, amazing work and great job! (P.S. I really dig the Splendid Fox, seems like an upstanding bloke. In case you didn't know you can add that as a splash screen in unity so it pops up when the game starts :) )

Thanks for playing and I'm glad to hear you had fun! In the future I will definitely be sure to set aside time to teach the player how the game works instead of just environment ques. I'm also glad someone found the pit of despair haha. Thanks again!

Thank you! Happy to hear you figured it out and enjoyed it!

Thanks for playing! Unfortunately there is no indication of the players current health. The way it works is you can get hit 10 times before you have to restart. In hindsight it would be better to have a system with 3 lives and a way to register if enemies were destroyed or coins were collected so they don't persist.  Plus a health bar would have helped the player understand what is actually going on.

The 360 rotation took me a day to get working but I knew it was worth it because it is the main part of the game. I figured the game should be fun first and for most.  The bug with the first net not firing must be from the netcooldown I have in the code. I didn't understand why it wasn't working but I assume the cooldown was only affecting the first time the player shoots and not the sequential times.

Thanks again for taking the time to play and giving me the great feedback!

This is one of my favorite games I've played yet! it's so satisfying to build up a deck by combining cards together. I do wish that the ships that I've destroyed would be on fire in the world map or sunken, that way I don't find myself going to them just to see if they are dead. Also it would be nice to get Rum just for destroying ships instead of selecting it as a reward. I was unable to buy anything within the first run. Overall the gameplay was solid and fun, excellent work!

This was a fun little game! I do wish that the mallet changed after the first plot point so the player knows they are in a new place, not just the same station as before. Great work especially for a solo dev, great submission!

Stellar entry! I enjoyed (almost) every second of it! The different mechanics work really well together and I loved that each one had a different death state for the zombie(i.e. the acid destroyed them) The lighting was also great, made activating the machines easy and readable. After 35 casualties I managed to beat the game, excellent work!

This was a fun little game! The puzzles were put together very well and the mechanics play great together. The story is a bit confusing and the lack of an ending kinda soured the game for me, I wanted to see what would happen. The characters and world had a charm to it. Oh and I enjoyed the cutscenes that you put together, it added a lot to the overall feel. The lighting was also a great addition, it is a small thing but it gave life to the flat sprites. Overall great job guys!

This was a fun little game! Feels like something I would find on addicting games back in the day. I enjoyed how you setup the intro, let the player get the feel of the controls before just plopping them into waves. The aesthetic was great, the sprites, music, and gameplay felt like they molded together very well. Great job! Although I did notice in the beginning if you go towards the trees below the house sometimes you will appear in front of it instead of behind. Other than that the game was a treat!

Thanks for play and  for the great feedback! I wanted to add a simple tutorial on the movement but unfortunately I ran out of time. That's why I had the pit in the beginning and the steep cliff, I was trying to goat the player into finding out the jump mechanics on their own. Your daughter has a great imagination! Personally, the best part of deving is hearing people's reactions so thanks for sharing both of your thoughts. Definitely made my day thinking of the brown spirits as flying poops :).

Amazing work for under 4 days, great job!

You guys did an awesome job with the theme! Like others have said the artwork is great and I love how it has kind of a paper mario vibe. Great work!

Thank you! I ran out of time and couldn't make the music myself, but I did find some nice tracks that fit well. I listed the sources on the game page in case you want to check out what they have for any future projects.

I loved the artwork/style, how it switches from sketch to color was a really nice touch. The music and the animation gelled well together, it was nice vibe. Great work guys!

Fun game, it reminds me of the Counter Strike zombie servers except from a birds eye view. I enjoyed turning into a zombie after dying although I felt like I'd die extremely quickly.  I did find a bug though. I ran out of ammo so I pressed the menu button, then pressed play. It reset my wave to 2 and erased all the zombies and soldiers, but my score continued to climb and I kept advancing to the next level.

Thank you and thanks for playing!
