Great story, it really fits the theme! I liked the soul AI as you try to corral them, it's fun to try and outsmart them! Of course, they eluded me a couple times too haha

i think you should increase the speed of walking animation. the ground surface seems to slide under our feet. game has nice and smooth control. congrats for submission :)

Good job submitting to the game jam! I enjoyed trying to catch souls. I would have liked to be able to restart on the same level, maybe even just a limited number of times, instead of starting from level one each time. Regardless, good job!

I enjoyed chasing the monsters! If I could start again at the level i died, I would have played for longer. Nice one! :)

A nice little game, it's missing some polish but hey, it's a jam game after all!

Although it would've been nicer if when I died it restarted the level I'm in not the whole game, but it's not that big of a deal, good work :D

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, I lost some time on not-so-necessary stuff like trying to set up a fog (which I eventually failed anyway, lol), when I should have focused more on the level design. Also, good point about restarting a level rather than a whole game.
