First time around I tried to riff a recipe and it was not great haha. My wife fared much better when she bothered to read the recipe haha. Great work.

Robot Fighting MechanicThis is a fun and charming game! The aesthetics and character expressions are great . And you have a drum roll for the reveal. Perfect touch. If you were to develop this further, what would you add to the game? Would you time it? Or maybe have to handle multiple recipes?
The only tweak I would suggest is to allow the player to hang onto the measuring cup. You have to go back and forth a couple of times to grab it. I felt like I wanted to speed thing ups a little bit to see what happened next. However its a very minor detail overall.
With that said, would love to see how the story develops. You definitely gave Chip a personality. What struggles are in store for this small bake shop? Great job!

I would definitely have multiple recipes with different requirements and actions to perform, like rolling out dough cutting them into shapes and decorating them.
I definitely like not having a timer for the chillness of it all.

I loved the aesthetics and the dialogue was pretty fun, it made me want to know the character a bit more tbh ahah!
I also liked the random recipes, it's a nice touch of replayability. This kinda has potential to become a cooking visual novel of sorts!
Also the music really fits the game too.
Again, I loved the art style, it gives it that polish feeling that (in conjunction with a fitting music theme) makes you replay it a nice couple of times to just stay in this little world with Chippany (nice pun btw ahahah) making cookies.

Escape of The Ducklingshaha 1000% agree. I was originally wanting to use a real recipe but measurements and things are a lot messier and more of a pain in real baking, and I thought it'd be more fun if it was slightly different every time.
The downsides, a lot of the recipes would likely be very strange in real life haha.

The right pathNiiice! The pastel visuals go great with the theme, and while it's simple in structure it was fun to interact with the ingredients.
It makes me wonder how it would go with a time based challenge as other cooking games do, but that would make it go quickly from relaxing to stressful so it's a matter of preference :)

Incan Mummy Delivery ServiceThe art is super cute, and the polish is amazing (the background objects, the character's expressions, the font, the cursor, and the UI elements)! Also really love the logo with the eaten cookie as the 'C'. This really resonated with the 'Take Care' theme :D

Thank you so much! I had fun designing all those little elements and were some of the things I was most excited to see come all together! So that really means a lot!
And haha I still wasn't sure I'd finished cause the art took quite a bit of time but still happy I ended up getting in all the stuff I'd wanted to for the jam itself! Really appreciate you taking the time to play, glad you enjoyed!
