Hey, I don't know, but I'll take that as a compliment! Hahaha! Thanks for playing.

Took a bit to get that clicking the houses made the roads around them rotate but then the idea got quite engaging. The camera and feel are kinda off but the concept is really good in my opinion. One can easily imagine the pc lost in a vast, mysterious, intricate archipelago of rotating islands. Makes for a good plot!
Exactly, the sprite rotating is the only aspect keeping it on-theme. I could've easily added the lunge mechanic without the rotation. But its a nice detail and you can actually get different "lunge outcomes" based on how the bunny hits the floor or a potential obstacle. That gave it a tiny bit of emergent gameplay that even got ME surprised. I'm a big fan on emergent gameplay, stuff like BOTW and/or Spelunky. I believe its one of the biggest aspects that distinguish games from other media: giving a player a sort of sandbox with a lot of potential for interactivity between the parts; and letting them get surprised (and sometimes surprise the devs) seems awesome to me.
The art is just adorable and very polished!
Enjoyed the gameplay although I could manage to avoid some projectiles by just standing on a specific side of the screen.
Once I realized there were powerups I wanted to collect them all hahah. Also let me collect lives ad infinitum !!! >:D
Don't know if this is common practice on shmups, but I could tell the input vector wasn't normalized (maybe I'm wrong though), so you can move faster diagonally than in unit axis directions.
The art style is so on point tho, nice job guys!
I loved the aesthetics and the dialogue was pretty fun, it made me want to know the character a bit more tbh ahah!
I also liked the random recipes, it's a nice touch of replayability. This kinda has potential to become a cooking visual novel of sorts!
Also the music really fits the game too.
Again, I loved the art style, it gives it that polish feeling that (in conjunction with a fitting music theme) makes you replay it a nice couple of times to just stay in this little world with Chippany (nice pun btw ahahah) making cookies.
I was, in fact, going for a 4 color palette, to keep it minimalistical and excuse my bad art skills! Hehe.
And yeah there's a few bugs that I discovered after the deadline that I'm currently fixing. I'll upload the bug-free version when the rating period ends!
In any way thanks a lot for playing and for your feedback! :)
The idea is that you could finish the game without saving any duckling. In that case dogs will still attack you and you'll loose lives (if they only see you they go for you too, so u could still die but not your ducklings). Now that I think about it there's no reason for u to get a game over if u loose the only duckling that could be following you, since there could be more ahead, oops.
Anyway, thanks a lot for playing! :D
