Ah man this one is great, I think it's such a cool concept that you don't understand the ramifications of until you hit that first jump.

Also in the first game camp, and also had the game too hard already so let's leave out half the ideas (that and, you know, time constraints!)

Great job.

Thanks!

"Okay, the walking is a little stiff and unresponsive.  So far so boring."

"Oh, a step.  I guess I have to jump over it."

Watches mummy and platform gently part ways with the delivery people in midair as if it were Aladdin on his flying carpet.

Realizes suddenly what the game is.

"Oh no."  Splat.

"Okay, I need to get my brother to play this."

Developer

Thanks! The walking is something I have to figure out why it's so stiff in the beginning.

This is a really cool little game! I really like the control, kinda hard at first but pretty fun when I got used to it! Great job!

Developer

Thank you, I really appreciate it.

This is actually a really interesting physics concept! I think the idea is really nice if the controls are sometimes a little inconsistent but I could see with some rough edges smoothed this being a really addicting little game!

You did great work! I'd love to see more!

Developer

Thank you!

Such a nice game ! Feels super weird to control, but in a good way !
Moving the mummy around is really challenging but you get used to it after some time. A counter at the top of the screen to see how far you got would be nice but hey, great game for a game jam ! :)

Developer

Thank you! There is a distance counter at the top, but I think the game screen is bigger than it needs to be so it's hard to see unless the scrollbar is just in the right place. Well, something else to keep in mind for next time.

The game is pretty challenging! I tried a couple of times but I was barely able to go for more than 10 seconds. I like the historical theme of the game.

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, it is too challenging. It's my first time using the physics engine of Game Maker Studio and was learning on the fly. The different physics variables need to be tweaked decimal by decimal to find the sweet spot. I might keep messing with it and see if I can find a more balanced mix.
