Nice job! I think this is a really interesting idea, you don't see many games where the car can only reverse. The art is nice and simple, and the music was a nice touch, although some crash sound effects could be cool. My only real complaint is that the tutorial plays every single time you play the game, making it a little annoying if you do multiple runs. Besides that i felt I got stuck on obstacles pretty easy and I couldn't fit through some gaps that I expected to. Great job though!

In what way does your game fit the theme?
The player needs to be going in reverse mode, and the time gun rewinds the alien back.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes

This is an interesting and original concept. However, there are quite a few unnecessary things here that might frustrate some players.
1) Maybe don't play the starting dialogue every single time somebody respawns- especially in a game where one dies quite often! Same thing with the menu screen- once the player dies, why do they go back to the main menu screen? It's not like it offers another mode or something, and even then, like I said, the player dies way too often to have to do all that again! Also this is literally a nitpick but once the player clicks the "Play" button, why is there another "Start" button the player needs to click after that to actually start the game?
2) The collider margins between objects seem pretty inconsistent with each other- it's quite easy to pass between a narrow space between two rocks, but not where there's a tree. This may just be because our brains think the collider margin should be limited to the stump/bark only. Consider reducing the margin for trees.
Also I'm not putting this in another point as it is quite literally a pretty small nitpick, but because we never see anything of the front of the car, it feels like we're always driving straight but the camera is facing the other way.
However, if I seem a bit critical of this game, then just know that I enjoyed playing the game! The reason this review seems a bit critical is because this game had quite a bit of constructive feedback it could benefit from.
All in all, it's a pretty fun and unique concept!
Liked how you implemented the them but it a bit hard! . Great work!
Hi!The idea is very wood, I liked it a lot. I would just add a skip button at the beginning when the text appears, because is kind of frustrating reading every time I lose, and maybe a reset button to not going back to the menu screen again, other than that, maybe a good idea would be to show the player more about what's ahead, the game kinda relies to play it a couple of times to know the way. But very creative game :)
The controls feel good and the idea is creative.
I think the music loop is a bit too short and gets repetitive very fast. The game is fun and engaging to try again after loosing, but I would say the level goes on for a tiny bit too long. Maybe a checkpoint would make it better! A retry button might make it a bit better too because you wouldn´t have to go to the main menu everytime.
I liked the game and think you did a good job!
Really fun game, i love how it controls, the one thing i would recommend is to bake some lights and add post processing. other than that it was really fun and engaging
I really enjoyed playing this game. I like how it wasn't something easy and straightforward to beat but rather took trial and error and multiple attempts. The driving mechanic was really fun and managing the rewind gun made it even better. Near the end of the game a lot of the trees were floating for some reason and that didn't seem intentional, so maybe fixing that would be good. Great job though!
Only thing i really can complain about is that the game isn't saving the player options. After restarting the level it switched back to fullscreen. The Leveldesign wasn't that bad, but it was a bit too unclear were to go. I sometimes needed to drive a whole lot back to get the right path.
Great entry. I got stuck a lot in trees, but i guess it was because of my bad backward driving skills :)
Good job, Its fun, but I think its too difficult. fairly easy to get stuck and loose.
maybe you should make the car smaller
