In what way does your game fit the theme?
The player can rewind to the last position he marked, the character is a Tape and the main idea is to not get reminded more than 3 times.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?

It's a fun and well thought game, I really like that you can switch the background music, and I quite liked the idea of rewinding as a tape. I had a bit of a trouble figuring out how the rewind mechanics work, but once I figured it out, the game was very good

Chrono GunnerReally awesome game! I love the artwork and being able to choose your own music is a great feature.
Took me a while to understand where I could save and rewind position, but once I figured it out it was pretty obvious. Maybe adding it to the tutorial would have been good anyway. Also the maze looking level can be beaten just going between the walls sideways.
But apart from those, I was amazed with this entry and I encourage you to make a full game out of it once the jam is over. I would play it! Well done and keep it up :)

I put it on the tutorial, but maybe because of the text was too long I can assume not everybody saw it haha I have to take that to make more interactive tutorials :P
I won't continue with this game, because it was like my first game and my first game jam, I think is finished for the goals I had with it, so I'm moving on to develop other games :)

Having a hard time figuring out how to use the rewind mechanics. i think the tutorial show a little more on how to use the system! (i was spamming my keys away till i found a way out) other than that the game has great art great music! good job :)

Tomb of the Dark TimesThe Good:
- Artstyle and sound - the art was really cute and the fact that you control a cassette and can change music really added to the theme
- Level selection - it was cool to be able to enter any level, especially since this is a game jam game. Let's you experiment and go back to find different solutions. I do recommend making the player complete the level first before they can choose it, but it's not a big deal
- Cool concept - the game was fairly innovative with its concept of recording and rewinding positions and suited the theme well.
Could Improve:
- Unnecessary features - the timer and falling pencils were unnecessary in my opinion. I think in puzzle games you should try to avoid timers to let the player think about the problem and not rush their actions. As for the pencils, it was unclear where and when they would drop, and often just led me into restarting the level so I can utilise all of my rewinds. I suggest making a permanent obstacle that the player can always see and knows to avoid
- Level 7 - it was buggy and i was able to walk towards the exit without using any ability
- Clarity - I was unsure where I could record and where I could rewind. Took me a little while to figure it out. Perhaps make it clearer by making the boxes colourful or have symbols on them
Overall:
Fun and well thought out game. The puzzles were challenging and entertaining. The art suited the theme, and the rewind mechanic was ingrained into the gameplay as the player needed to use it a lot to complete the game. Well done!

RobospierreI liked the game, but the only thing I think you could fix was the rewind, because sometimes I couldn't rewind and it's more like teleporting back than rewinding back. Otherwise, great job!
