In what way does your game fit the theme?
Our game fits the theme in two ways: 1. We went with a retro GameBoy aesthetic to "rewind time." 2. Being a rhythm game, our core gameplay mechanic is to rewind through a track multiple times, allowing the player to try different instruments as the difficulty increases.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes 99% of the code was written by us during this jam. All art, music, and most sfx were also created by us during the jam from scratch.

Well, its official, I've never been worse at any other game ever. Hed to get myself a second pair of hands just to keep up somewhat. It supports my suspicion that I'm the least musical person in the world.
I'm not sure if theres anyway arround that. Perhaps if the notes were marked (dfjk) or if you could rebind the keys?
Eitherway, I'm in love with the game boy esthetic.

Operation: REDWINDA really cool game, my main issue was with the controls. I would have much rather had the option to play with four keys next to each other on the keyboard so that I can play with one hand. Other than that though, really cool game. Well done!

You will never catch me!Very fun game! I got 80.000 as a score in my second run. Only thing would be to have more songs and maybe have a one-time-play slower tutorial.

something I know would have been hard (but I believe it would be great) would be to make the game record your mistakes, so when you miss a key playing for instance the trumpet, that key didnt play on the next part of the recording (so you wouldnt hear the trumpet in that instant)

Sea of ArtificeAs a percussionist, i thought i would be good at this game, boy was i wrong. The controls are intuitive yet confusing and the notes approach what seems like a break neck speed.
Overall the game was very fun, The visuals were pleasing and the songs are all bops.

Who Killed Milton RiversHad a smile on my face as I was doing terribly. That's a great sign :]
Really, really enjoyed the tunes and the simple 4-button rhythm matching. First song I did poorly, second I did better, and by the end I had gotten a 40 note streak and was totally jamming.
I am not sure if the "funk" settings change the song, but it could definitely benefit from more songs. I loved playing this game.
One suggestion I can give is maybe add different keyboard button layouts to either change difficult or playstyle!

OldSchool guitar hero vibes! I like it.
Maybe easing in the player with levels will help, as My fingers did not want to work together, So instead of having 4 keys, only go with two. Also when in the game there is now way to get back to menu.
Good music choices though! The Art as well!

K7 BreakoutThe game looks amazing, plays amazing and sounds amazing, but I fail to see an active implementation of the jam's theme, which is a big pity. I feel like the notes going backwards is just not enough, you can't interact with it, it just is there. Nevertheless, every other single aspect of the game is outstanding, and I say it as a veteran rhythm player. Good job!
