In what way does your game fit the theme?
Player must work to keep all videos rewound while serving customers
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?

Fun game! If more interesting progression & upgrades are implemented, I can see it having potential to become one of those tycoon games where you can spend lots of time just grinding and growing.
I felt some of the days ending felt weird though, I for example could end in 1 of the day having 0 total customers served even though I have served several customers.
interesting, thanks for the feedback. I'll look into it!
Nice! The pixel art was really neat. :)
thanks!
Really fun video game! I wasn't sure if this was endless, so I just stopped at day 8 with just maxed VCR upgrades. The randomness of the unwound videos kinda adds to the difficulty, but perhaps consider color coding them as well for more accuracy.
The current controls are good, the simple click to point works, but maybe if you add a WASD or Directional control you can enable a more fast paced gameplay and also letting you design more challenging stages. Another idea to add is a dash mechanic, might be funny to witness the cashier scramble around behind the counter 😂
Anyways, great work with your submission! 👏 Would be nice if you continue to develop this. 😃
You've got some cool ideas there, thanks!
Nice game, I like the music and the graphics. I think that the rewind was quite slow , I had a massive pile of cassette to rewind after the first day.
Good job.
Thanks for giving it a go!
Hey we had similar games! I like how yours focuses just on your little space, but I think the pacing needs some fixing. Having the player and the rewinder move faster would alleviate that.
Oh and I also really like the angry customer dialog, that was really cool and interesting
Cool, I'm looking forward to giving yours a go! Thanks a lot
Pretty good, not sure whether the game ended on the third day because of angry customers or if that was just the end.
The game shouldn't end because of angry customers, though it will slow down the rate at which new customers come in. It shouldn't end after the third day unless you run out of money (at the end of each day it will take off your basic costs, I have to admit it wasn't as clear as I'd have liked). Thanks for giving it a go!
well done. that was a Fun game.
Thankyou!
Really enjoyed your game! It was a lot of fun!
Many thanks!
I really enjoyed playing. The art was amazing.
Thanks alot :)
I had a great time playing your game, and was hooked for a while. Maybe some kind of innovation would have been nice, but again I liked it a lot! Definitely a good rating :)
Very kind of you to say. Thanks!
It's a nice game, pretty interesting to play. there are somethings you could consider, maybe pace up the tempo or making it faster as you reach the end of day, because after a while it will feel repetitive. It is fun to play and definitely should keep improving in the future (^∀^)
Very kind of you to say. I have to agree that it does get a bit repetitive, I might try and come up with a few ideas for additions!
The game's pretty interesting, but I think there's a few areas that could use some improvement. The rewinding machine is really slow and that can get quite annoying especially when you run out of the correct tape that the customer wants. I find the music choice to be rather odd as I would expect something more akin to muzak. Nevertheless, great work on the game! Really like the people moving around the store.
Thanks for the honest feedback! I have to admit I stuggled a little with getting the speed of the rewind right, to start with I had it too fast and it seemed a little pointless. As for the music, it wasn't quite what I had intended but I'd put it in as a placeholder and never had time to find anything that fit better!
The graphics remind me of Pokemon Emerald, it's really cute, the game play is simple but it's got some charm, CONGRATS for this game!
Very kind of you to say!
Nice work!
Thankyou!
Love the audio and the play on the theme REWIND (VCR) ;-)
