In what way does your game fit the theme?
The player has the ability to reverse flying projectiles. In other words: rewind time for them.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, i did code the game by myself and did all the "artwork". Sounds were generated with bfxr.

Nice job! The rewind mechanic is good, but I wish it was a bit faster. It can make the game feel slow. I like the idea of having the cannons shoot at you, and trying to make the cannons shoot each other!
Overall this is a pretty good entry! Things could definitely be improved, like graphics and sound, but overall you did well!

Wow this game is so original! amazing! At first it thought what his this shit, he level is over before i even have an idea what is happening. Until i realised i only need the spacebar and the character is the play-bar thing. haha amazing! really nice and surprisingly fun. But i would chance the voice recording, it gets old super fast think something less in your face will make it a sound effect now it has to much meaning as a audio clip and gets repetitive fast.
The simple art style fits the simple button/ mechanics perfectly but a bit more visuals to look at could make it look a bit better i think. But keep the simplicity in there it works great!
Its a nice little game that fits the game-jam theme very good! I would never have come up with something like this, so very good job on that too!
Just wow dude! This is a really fun mini-game and it has such a unique take on it using the playbar from a video as the player to dodge bullets is so good. It took me a bit to properly grasp how things worked out like how the projectiles are reflected only when the "Back" ability, not sure what you called it, is available. Being able to reflect and use the enemy turrets as shields are such good addition and adds a bit of depth to playing it.
AND THAT OH SO GLORIOUS SOUND OF THE "BACK" ABILITY, just blasted my guts when I first heard it!

Fun little mini-game! For longer playability, the rewind noise could be changed to a sound effect rather than the current so the novelty doesn't wear off as fast.
Further improvements: Perhaps adding another type of enemy, or the screen could zoom out more the longer the game goes on as you already have an increasing play timer!

That was quite interesting! I did sort of enjoy playing it for how simple it was. As you probably know, more features would be nice to add, but good start for a week!

This is a sick idea for a game! I like how the gameplay encorages you to get the turrets to shoot eachother so you can survive longer and you have the slow down effect when you rewind
Also A+ for the audio, it really made me feel like youtube rewind

Interesting idea, although it loses its novelty quick. Some enemies spawn in front of other enemies, so they end up dying immediately, and the voice does get annoying after some time. It definitely is a unique idea and I like the simple graphics as well. Good work!
This is a really cool concept and you could definitely publish this on the android/apple app store with some polish and a monetization strategy. Great Job!
