In what way does your game fit the theme?
You have the ability to rewind/go back in time at any point in the game, and can therefore predict & counter the future!
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, I wrote all of the code myself and made 99% of all the assets myself (except the player model, the base of whom I downloaded from online, but then sculpted a LOT more, and also rigged/animated).

It was really unconventional and surprising to see a 1v1 boxing game, when there were all these games around trying to focus on constructing time travel stories. Full points for out-of-the-box thinking.
I think the game could use a lot more polish in terms of audio, music and most importantly, some kind of visual indication (apart from the declining health bar, of course) that the player is taking damage. Maybe even as simple as a red flash.
The rewinding mechanism was well implemented and executed, though I was able to beat the opponent without using it, so it felt a bit redundant.
Overall it was a fun game, and the humanoid was nicely modeled considering you did it from scratch.
Praiseworthy effort, and good luck!
Haha thanks! It's kind of weird, some people say the game is too hard and that the rewind mechanic has too slow of a cooldown, whereas to some say it's too easy and needs to depend a bit more on the rewind mechanic. But I guess that just comes with playtesting :D
Thanks, I'll keep what you said in mind!
Wow, a boxing game in this jam, almost unpredictable. I like the idea, the game is rushed and that's understandable, I won walking around him while throwing lefts and it worked well, so I never used the rewind when I won. Despite all of these issues, which only need time to get fixed, I had a lot of fun, nice game!
it's a good idea, its pretty fun but i fell like with some more impact punches (using particles or some kind of time dilation) it would feel a whole lot more fun
it was definitely a challenge and the graphics were pretty good
the best part about the game was the immersion, i really felt like i was there
Good job! Nice game
Thanks for the feedback!
Nice game!
Neat
I really like the idea for it. I think it requires more work on details but the idea is something I enjoyed!
I would really appreciate your opinion on mine as well if you have a moment.
A very interesting concept, but needs some more tweaks to get right. Some more feedback as to if you've been hit or blocked and some other touch ups and could be really fun! Good submission.
nice game You got here bro. but it still needs polishing and adding some game feel such as screenshake slight pause and lot more
Great concept if you only could've had the time to polish it more and work on the boxing mechanics more, Hope you continue working on it and improve to the point it can be successful game on steam 🤍 Good job!
Thanks for the kind words! I'll be sure to improve the game once the jam is over :)
Cool game mechanic! It gets a little repetitive but still a great game overall! Fun to play a boxing game in the game jam!
A unique game for the theme. I like the concept a lot but its hard to recognize when I can be hit or when I am hitting. I also think having to move up to the boxer with WASD is unnecessary and just allowing the boxing to be the main focus of the controls would make the game better. With some work this can be a fantastic game! A fun experience nevertheless.
Thanks for the feedback! Happy to hear you had a fun experience :)
I had a lot of fun with the possibility of punching over and over again. With audio it would be even better! Great job.
Thanks! Yes, the lack of audio seems to be the main critique for this game, so I'll be sure to add it after the jam!
If you gonna add audio this game will be better! Anyway I had fun playing this game.
Thanks! I'm glad to know you had fun playing the game. I've added audio to the version I have locally already, but unfortunately no changes can be made to the game while the rating period for the jam is ongoing. Will upload version with audio once the jam is over!
I like The concept of your game and thinks it looks great. I think this game is well made and also fun to play.
I like the main idea. Rewinding and boxing go well together. The rewind was well implemented and the graphics are good. However, this game is absolutely lacking in player-feedback. It doesn't feel like anything is going on. Punches should make sounds, there should be visual effects for when the player or the enemy lands a punch, make the screen flash red, particles... It just feels like I am just watching two boxers play simple punching animations while healthbars are going down.
Thanks a lot for the praise and feedback both! I actually realized once the jam was over that it was lacking any kind of audio, voiding any sort of player-feedback. Also, particles and effects are a great idea! Will add both once the jam is over. Thanks!
This game got me to chuckle hard. There's just something very childish in me that get tickled by the whole presentation of this game. Good show.
Thanks, and I'm glad you liked it!
Super interesting game. I like the visuals and the concept.
Great game I must say. Very unique concept, I liked it! The rewind feature made it ten times better than any other boxing game. Controls were simple and great to use which is sometimes a problem in these kind of games but not in this one. Personally, one of the best boxing games I’ve played! Great going!!
Thanks a ton! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
