Nice game! I like the aesthetics, I'm not really noticing the risk portion of the theme, but I assume that's because you focused on the biscuit aspect. A note on the siren, I would suggest you have the player click to confirm they read the explanation before the minigame begins.
Thanks for your feedback! Due to time constrains we lost a bit of the theme, there were more difficult routes planned...
In our upcoming patch, the event only starts, if the player is ready.
Visually amazing. Great concept but the gameplay lack some depth. I loved having to feed and collect cookies. Would have been nice if there were some difficulties like sharks, maybe having to repair the ship etc. Sound wise I don't think I enjoyed all of the sounds but the music was spot on and did set a nice mood for the game. Overall I liked it, I just think it can be improved further!
Thanks for playing! Some hazards would be nice, i agree! Maybe they make it in to the game in the future!
The soundeffects are some quick and dirty ones i agree. With a bit more time i think we can improve the experience

Pretty enjoyable game, I think I'm a pro, I gathered a total of incredible ZERO gold. Actually I didn't understand some things in the game, when I reach an island with biscuits to gather, I click in them but my biscuits don't increase. Also, when I finally wasted all of my biscuits, to gather a new one while navigating, I was supposed to pay some gold, but even having 0 gold I could buy biscuits (only while navigating, in the shops I couldn't). Well, I liked the variation in things we can encounter (small island, pirates, mermaid), the mechanic to keep moral of our crew is cool, but at some point I couldn't progress anymore cause that problem I mentioned. I loved the visuals for the game, and all the ideas, unfortunately I couldn't play the real experience because of these bugs. In summary: Small islands don't give me biscuits (at least in my atempts); I can buy biscuits even with 0 gold while navigating. Well, other than that, good experience overall, congrats for your game
Thanks for your indepth feedback! The bug with the small island is a new one... did you drag the biscuits to the chest? Other than that i could not reproduce the bug you mentioned.
The thing with buying biscuits for 0 gold was an emergency fix right before the deadline, otherwise people wo be hardstuck. We fixed this in our upcoming patch.
Thanks again for playing!
Actually I was only clicking the biscuits and they would disappear, so I had to drag them? Sorry about that, I didn't know, so that's why I couldn't get them, I would suggest that the biscuits didn't disappear when I simple click, so I probably would try to drag them. When I click and the biscuit disappear I thought the click was a succesful. Edit: Yeah I tested right now and it worked dragging the biscuits. You also written in the dialog box that I had to drag lol. But I must insist that the biscuit should not disappear when I click on it. I suggest that when I click, the biscuit don't move, and if I'm dragging but I drop before the chest, the biscuit should go back to the place where it was.
You are right, on our list there will be an animation when you "drop the biscuit". Thanks for the clarification!
Amazing art, music and overall production! The game had a pretty enjoyable loop, sailing between islands and munching on cookies. I had a hard time managing and balancing the resources, but it didn't feel unfair.
Thanks for playing our submission! We did a round of balancing in our upcoming patch!
in a week? damn. fantastic art, sound, gameplay ... the whole package (of biscuits)!
Thanks for the kind words!
Amazing game. Art is peak. Some places do lack vfx and sfx, like the cannon shot but it is understandable. Game play loop is rly solid. As one person mentioned bellow, eventually you run out of cookies (tho i was lucky i managed to beat the game with 1-2 of basic cookies remaining), but ig it should be fixable probably by having something like "treasure islands" with just pure gold.
But yeah, gameplay is quite engaging with all the time based obstacles and resource balancing. The theme is realized well in both swimming and meta progression
Thanks for playing our game and leaving us feedback! We added a bit more player feedback and a few sfx to strengthen some actions. Still a bit to go for sure.
Wow, great game! Who knew feeding the crew could be so challenging? I do think the market could use bigger swings—I only ran into islands with 50% changes, which worked well for the filled cookies but felt unfair for the less expensive ones. I also think I found a bug during the pirate attack: if two of the same cookies were needed and placed next to each other, I could fill both spots by placing a single cookie between them, and it would only use one cookie.Fantastic game overall!
Thanks for your indepth feedback! We adjusted the price values in the upcoming patch and also fixed the bug you mentioned with the pirate ship. Thank you for finding it and also for playing our game! ;)
A crew surviving on cookies only, I felt attacked.
The art is great! The gameplay easy to understand with strong mechanics. I think this one can work very well as a board game.
Thank you for playing! Hm a boardgame? Did not thought about that... i like me some good boardgame... thanks for the idea!
It wasn’t until about halfway through the map that I realized there was an objective, only because I was clicking around the islands to see what options there were. Up until that point it felt pretty pointless, like buying and selling cookies always at the same price everywhere I went. Finally started to see a little variety and then I won. I guess my goal was to get to the end with as much money as possible?
I think using visibility/readability of things as a challenge is a valid choice but it’s not the best accessibility wise. I did really like the art! It felt weird that there wasn’t any reward whatsoever for beating pirates or pleasing the siren, except “not losing” I guess. They could have both used some sort of visual and/or audio feedback that you succeeded in doing the thing you needed to do for them. It was unclear to me if crew morale mattered except as a “either you have it or you lose” type of thing, but I have to admit I frequently ignored their pleas and only fed them when I thought they absolutely needed it. Maybe I’m a cruel, cruel captain 😥
Anyway, nice work overall! Just wish there had been a bit more clarity and variety with what’s going on in the game.
Thanks a lot for your indepth feedback! I noted quite a lot for future patches! We worked a lot on the readability in our upcoming patch. Rewards are a good point after the event... for some reason we didnt thought about that...
Great game! Nice work :)
Incredible game for just 1 week. So much content that is actually fun. Really polished in all departements. 5 / 5
Kudos to the 3 of you! It's a fun and very polished game. I agree with some of the feedback of cookies being hard to see clearly. Overall, well done!
Thanks for playing! In our upcoming patch we adressed this issue.
Amazing game, was very fun to play! The visuals are lovely.
The game could me more responsive in some cases, i.e. when you fill the bar for the pirates the first and nothing happens I was unsure if it worked correctly. Also sometimes it is hard to see which cookies they require, especially with the windy effects (maybe make it so the UI is not affected by that?)
Thanks for giving us feedback! I agree, we need a lot of playerfeedback to show what is happening. We changed also the visibilty during rain and fog events so its easier to read.
Amazing illustration and UI design! Loved the simple game mechanics that builds up as the game progresses, love the variety of gameplay stemmed from a simple mechanics! That said the overall gameplay loop feels a bit oppressive, it feels like I become poorer and poorer as the game progresses and i am cookie-less at the end. I feel like it would be nicer if i can build up an cookie empire through trade and or other encounters to face harder challenges. Nonetheless, I do feel some rush near the end when I was running out of resources and it did feel good when I finished a stage with just enough cookies.
Thanks for your indepth feedback!
You are totally right, the balancing is off and we didnt explainedor biscuit trading very well, so most of the player have very few biscuits. We are implementing a few countermechanics and balancing after the jam.
The art was very pretty!
The gameplay felt laid back, I did get caught off guard by the siren wanting several rounds of biscuits so I ended up completely guessing and going through a lot of my stockpile. I'd recommend a visual queue or a "ready" button for that challenge in case the player isn't looking at that part of the screen.
I liked the markets at each island, it was nice to recover the biscuits that were running low.
Thanks for playing our game! Yeah, the tipps we implemented where at the last minute, so there are some things not well explained and not enough time to read them. There will be a fix for this after the jam.
amazing art and sound and i liked the take on the theme! my only nitpick was there should be more explanation of controls/gameplay.
Thanks for giving our game a shot and leaving feedback. More explanations are coming post jam!

I wish I had known that I was supposed to drag the cookies to place. I was just clicking the cookies that were needed. But once I figured it out, it was overall a good game! I like the visuals and the sound effects!
Thanks for playing! The explanation for that is in the game, but i was to afraid implementing it 10min before the jam ended and doing a time freeze, so it is not in the final game sadly... Glad you figured it out!

Very enjoyable game! Reminiscent of FTL! Great work definitely would love more story beats tho with the island hoper mechanics tho since ports are more or less exclusively to buy and sell(think final fantasy crystal chronicles cutscenes on the road between towns)! *this game was live reviewed here: twitch.tv/gratefulllyivory (will post vod after stream)
Thanks a lot for playing our game on stream! Thats a first for us!
