Thanks a lot for playing and for your comment! You’re right, it was quite a challenge — and there’s definitely a big cleanup to tackle post-jam.

Thanks for the feedback! Thats for sure something useful to add. Its on my todo list now!

Thanks for playing!

You are right, on our list there will be an animation when you "drop the biscuit". Thanks for the clarification!

Thanks for playing our game and leaving us feedback! We added a bit more player feedback and a few sfx to strengthen some actions. Still a bit to go for sure.

Thanks for your indepth feedback! We adjusted the price values in the upcoming patch and also fixed the bug you mentioned with the pirate ship. Thank you for finding it and also for playing our game! ;)

Thank you for playing! Hm a boardgame? Did not thought about that... i like me some good boardgame... thanks for the idea!

Thanks for playing! In our upcoming patch we adressed this issue.

Thanks for giving us feedback! I agree, we need a lot of playerfeedback to show what is happening. We changed also the visibilty during rain and fog events so its easier to read.

Thanks for playing! Some hazards would be nice, i agree! Maybe they make it in to the game in the future!

The soundeffects are some quick and dirty ones i agree. With a bit more time i think we can improve the experience

Thanks for leaving us a comment!

Thanks for your indepth feedback! The bug with the small island is a new one... did you drag the biscuits to the chest? Other than that i could not reproduce the bug you mentioned.

The thing with buying  biscuits for 0 gold was an emergency fix right before the deadline, otherwise people wo be hardstuck. We fixed this in our upcoming patch.

Thanks again for playing!

Thanks for playing our submission! We did a round of balancing in our upcoming patch!

Thanks for the kind words!

Thanks for your feedback! Due to time constrains we lost a bit of the theme, there were more difficult routes planned...

In our upcoming patch, the event only starts, if the player is ready.

Thanks a lot for your indepth feedback! I noted quite a lot for future patches! We worked a lot on the readability in our upcoming patch. Rewards are a good point after the event... for some reason we didnt thought about that...

Oh man i like the visuals. The bird at the windup phase is great. The cosmetics are fun! The gameplay it self is pretty interesting for its simplicity. Sadly its damn hard to control the egg in the air. i would love an upgrade to allow faster movement in the air. The way daown was also very hard, you eggcelerate to fast.

Overall great submission! I had a lot of fun!

(1 edit)

Really dig the gameplay. Simple but engaging. It was not clear to me in the beginning, that i need to grab the cookie. Also the number was hard to read. The upgrades made the game a complete idle game, which was fun, but i quickly was in the minus by a lot.

Visuals are fine and the music was chill and fitting. A few soundeffects could enhance the experience even more.

Good job!

I like the gameloop a lot. I found it more fun to try to catch the bullet, instead of a good bounce. It was rather difficult to get a good bounce, maybe I am just bad, that could always the possibility. The upgradescreen a bit earlier would also be nice, to get the sense of progression a bit more.

The art and audio was fitting.

Overall great submission!

Like a lot of other people mentioned, the art is great and unique. The style had a lot of charm and i would like to wander more in this world.

With the combat i had a lot of difficulties. There is not enough player feedback, the attack windup is missing for the player and the enemy. I didnt know when the perfect time for attack was, nor i was able to hit a good timing. It was nice to heal after each fight (cause i needed that!) The audio was fitting and the mood was very good.

Overall a nice looking game with a mechanic that needs more polish.

Thanks for the kind words!

Thanks for playing and for the kind words!

Thanks for playing! The popup problem will be fixed after the jam, you are not the only one giving us feedback to this specific problem. Thanks!

Very kind of you giving our game a try and leaving great feedback! The pause while the pop ups are on screen is going to be implemented after the game jam.

Thanks for playing and leaving feedback! I agree, the balancing is off. We will try to adress this post jam

Thanks for playing and the kind words!

We try to make the game more clear after the jam with more tipps and by fixing some gamedesign errors. The comparison with DOS2 gave me a giggle! Only 90hours more gameplay to go!

Thanks for playing and the feedback! A pause screen is a great idea, we will implement that after the jam!

I am glad you enjoyed the game! Thanks for playing!

Thank you for playing and the indepth feedback! These are some great tipps and i have written them down for implementation after the game jam!

Glad you enjoyed the game and the sound effects, they were fun to make! nomonom!

Thanks for playing and giving feedback! You are not alone with the complaint over too little explanation and i agree! More of this is coming post jam!

Thanks a lot for playing our game on stream! Thats a first for us!

Thanks for playing! The explanation for that is in the game, but i was to afraid implementing it 10min before the jam ended and doing a time freeze, so it is not in the final game sadly... Glad you figured it out!

Thanks for giving our game a shot and leaving feedback. More explanations are coming post jam!

Thanks for playing our game! Yeah, the tipps we implemented where at the last minute, so there are some things not well explained and not enough time to read them. There will be a fix for this after the jam.

Thanks for your indepth feedback!

You are totally right, the balancing is off and we didnt explainedor biscuit trading very well, so most of the player have very few biscuits. We are implementing a few countermechanics and balancing after the jam.

Thanks a lot for giving our game a shot and for the great feedback!

One of a few entries with a bit of story. Kinda refreshing. Sadly there are no visuals or audio in the beginning so it gets boring quickly.

The gameplay is solid with different mechanics. But there is not somehing groundbreaking new there.

The graphics are basic. One of the things i would keep in mind is to not resize pixelart so the pixel always have the same size.

There seem no soundeffects, which is sad, because they add a lot of gamefeel.

Gj finishing a game and submitting it intime!

Wow what a nice concept. The visuals are great and the atmosphere is creepy and great!

The gameplay is refreshing and like placing the objects in the way of the shadows. That mechanic was way more satisfying then the other spells! Maybe give the moving of the furniture more upgrades, because thats really fun!

The audio was fitting and the theme was met quite literal!

Very polished experience! Great job!

I like the artstyle! It has a nice vibe. The audio is fine.

For the gameplay: I like turnbased cardgames, but i was not always sure what was happening with each card. The selection of the cards did also not work a 100 percent and sometimes my mana was refilled without ending the turn. The feedback if the "attack" was good was missing completly (or i am blind and i didnt saw it).

But overall nice idea, with a little more polish and playerfeedback could be much more enjoyable.

Thanks for giving our game a try!

Well the 0 money and possibility to buy was a last minute decision we intentionally made, because the player could get stuck... So a needed super quick solution for not having enough time coming up with a better solution! haha
