Love the vibes! Well done

This game kicks ass! very simple controls but it feels so good when I pull off cool moves. Some of the wall jumps are a inconsistent when I'm too low on the wall but had a great time except one section with a bunch of small wall jumps. Good work!

Screenshot seemed promising but couldn't figure out the controls, maybe include the controls in the description of the game?

Good blend of risk taking, careful planning and skill! a bit difficult to grasp, and sometimes the physics hates me. But an interesting concept with good polish for a 7 day jam! Good job

Fun crafting game! loved the simple gameplay and love the interesting controls for choosing ingredients. Graphics are quite nice and the audio is relaxing.

The UX is quite good with inputs and misinputs having a informative pop up to tell me what it did or what went wrong. One minor suggestion is for the Recipe list to be easier to interact with especially when the recipes goes up too much. Also might be better to put row 2 ingredient shortcuts to A S D W.

Also got a minute stuck with no orders around the end of level 5, but other than that was pretty well balanced. (surprisingly quite relaxing).

Overall very cool entry, I was catching myself trying to optimize ingredient shortcut after a few minutes. So yeah very engaging gameplay.

Amazing illustration and UI design! Loved the simple game mechanics that builds up as the game progresses, love the variety of gameplay stemmed from a simple mechanics! That said the overall gameplay loop feels a bit oppressive, it feels like I become poorer and poorer as the game progresses and i am cookie-less at the end. I feel like it would be nicer if i can build up an cookie empire through trade and or other encounters to face harder challenges. Nonetheless, I do feel some rush near the end when I was running out of resources and it did feel good when I finished a stage with just enough cookies.

Calm and relaxing day on the job in a beautiful cabin in the woods! Love the cute arts and the fact that nothing scary happens at all 🥰

This is the Chess 2 update we need! Very impressive for a week long jam project from a solo dev!

Sick game! So good to have a game with controller support! Very polished art and music and the game feels amazing!

Really impressed with how many unique item and weapons were in the game. The enemy too are all very thoughtful made and each brings a unique challenge!

I think if the game could be more fast paced and more action focused. Currently it feel very methodical and rewards me when I'm cautious and play it slow. But I want to jump in the action! Maybe that's just my personal taste in game, either way would love to see what you awesome devs make in the future! 🙌🙌

I see it is a big team but I'm soooo impressed with what you guys pulled off in the 7 day jam! The gameplay loop is simple to understand but has so much depth with all the different decks you guys made. With more polish and some instructions to explain some mechanics, this game can go places! Would love to see more!

Fun gameplay and a visual *treat*. Love to see a simple concept executed well. Love the art! Did find a bug where one of the dogs were stuck pass the bottom fences for the second level. Maybe this game can be a bit more challenging for later levels?

Dark Soul meets single-player Overcooked! Really impressed with how many different mechanics this game included. Every ingredient is its own challenge and it is all comes together nicely! Maybe some easier things to cook in the future?

Relaxing game that fits the theme well! Love the background animation and music. But took me a while to figure out where to click to start dropping biscuits

Thanks for playing and commenting!

And yes, we did program it specifically for you to be super unlucky! Jokes aside, we did hear the feedback from a few players being unlucky, so do expect some changes in future development! 😅

Thanks for playing and commenting!

Thanks for pointing it out! We will add better instruction/tutorial to make it easier for future development.

Thanks for playing and commenting!

Thanks for the kind word for the art and audio! Mai and Josh worked really hard on them. It is a good suggestion to have options for upgrade with the additional money. We will consider that for future development!

Thanks for playing and the comment! 🙌

100% agree, we wanted to give the player a lot more options and power ups to help player control the outcome. Glad to hear you feel the same way! If we develop this further, we will certainly expand on that aspect.

🥰 cute

Can see the mechanic being super fun. Hope you all finish this!

(1 edit)

goofy ahh walk 💀💀👍

skeleton head soccer! Would be nice to have a different font for the tutorial text. It was really hard to read it on such small screen, or have it in the description as well.

Sweet and short, very nice. It was really hard to see the enemy coming the first time, but good that it was really easy to try again. Loved the ending, surprisingly great build up for a simple ending.

Amazing art!!! The story's build up was a tiny bit long for a jam game but the ending gave me chills non the less.

Thanks for giving it try!

Ooops thanks for catching the bug. Didn't have too much time to test the functions for the end game. Will patch that once I find a chance to!

Thanks a lot for giving a try, glad you enjoyed it!

ty for giving it a try, glad you found it interesting

I'm so upset that I found this game after rating just ended. This is for sure my favourite game of the jam! Stunning work!!! One smol suggestion is to make the timer more visible when it is close to finish. I could only peek at the timer between rounds and couldn't see it was ending soon

haha, that's a funny bug, didn't know this can still happen

Thank you so much for being so critical! We completely overlooked testing and just tried to stuff in as much feature as possible. We will take the feedback and to help our future projects

Thanks for the feedback! I agree that we should have done more for the balancing 😢, will definitely leave more time for that in future jams!

The art style is charming and well defined, and the game play is fun until too chaotic.

Suggestions: The enemies and dice roll result should be more readable. Also try to use some pathfinding system so enemy doesn't get stuck on walls.

The UI were a bit confusing to use. I see potential here, but need a lot more polish on the UX side.

tbh, I didn't enjoy the janky controls, BUT I couldn't stop trying to make the perfect dice. This might be the most creative take on the theme I've seen, and it is fairly impressive on a technical level.

Love this game so much!!! It is so aesthetic and easy to pick up. I got invested into the game really fast. The resources are so well balanced, and the dice rolls were used so well! Perhaps the best use of the dice roll mechanic I've see so far.

Presentation is clean: sound effects and graphics fits really well together. I ran into a problem where my first round had 10 balls and round 5 and 6 had 3 balls. I think it is cool to use dice to create thing in level, but it is hard to balance.

Love the mix of 2d and 3d! The art style is simple but it is goes together really well

Amazing aesthetics, wish it was easier with all the dice doing different things

Simple yet juicy mechanics, very nice! Would suggest maybe making the enemy's death state a bit more visible, like changing the sprite color darker. Right now it is not too easy to see if enemy is alive or not

Darn, you are right! completely forgot to test that 😅
