Well done! Very cute visuals and movement felt nice. If only there was something bit easier to make before cookie XD. I liked the the throwing mechanic and how connected it was to other mechanic, world felt real.

Took me a while to understand how to play it. I am probably too dumb for it. Even now i still can't understand why was i loosing in some situations. But idea is nice

Amazing visuals, nice story.

But with gameplay there is a lot of stuff feels wrong. Also I am not seeing the theme of risk here

Very cool and solid mechanics. I liked how u managed to make beginning forgiving just by decreasing play space. And eventually you get more and more corrupted increasing difficulty in this kind of way, eventually creating positive loop. I would say that it imo snowballs way too quickly, eventually almost removing all choice from the player.

The risk implementation is really good imo, I like that you immediately get feedback on whether risk was successful.

Amazing game. Art is peak. Some places do lack vfx and sfx, like the cannon shot but it is understandable. Game play loop is rly solid. As one person mentioned bellow,  eventually you run out of cookies (tho i was lucky i managed to beat the game with 1-2 of basic cookies remaining), but ig it should be fixable probably by having something like "treasure islands" with just pure gold.
But yeah, gameplay is quite engaging with all the time based obstacles and resource balancing. The theme is realized well in both swimming and meta progression

Nice game. SFX makes it pretty satisfying to kill rows of enemies.

But i didn't really feel much risk and reward.
Upgrade felt more like a chore and and obstacle after some point rather then reward. (Mainly because of lack of impact of most of them, except probably +1 projectile which also only gives some impact up to a point, and after this after each upgrade you are super vulnerable as previous throw didn't fulfil full potential and now your sawblades returning to the base.

Also after playing for 10 min i still don't know what are random projectiles

Also, it seems like optimal strategy was just throwing sawblades around as fast as possible, which ig makes game lack depth. Maybe it just appears like this idk

Besides this, the controls were pretty unique, and art was good. (Maybe if he didn't have legs it would have been better, but IG decision to make him static was taken last moment.)

Also, the comment seems pretty negative, I did enjoy the game :) Good Job

Nice game, i liked controls at some points and at some i hated them xd. I think it is because of the lack of feedback.  I think the art was unique and animations were smooth. Well done

Hey, Imo my main problem was that it was quite confusing. Even after playing for >10 min and winning 4 t i couldn't understand what slot machine does. Also i don't really see the risk reward mechanics here. But like for 3 days of work i think it is fine

Hey thx for feedback, yeah the game is too challenging sadly. Btw about the visual bug do you have an Apple device?

(1 edit)

Thx for feedback. I hoped I didn’t make it too difficult but ehhh sadly I did…

Oh also just curious how much did you usually charge for (like yellow or red or green?)

Cool idea, but yeah people pointed out the main problem. Also the game is very difficult at least for me.  Fixing these thingies would have made it quite enjoyable.

Wow! Rly rly unique and has space for a lot of depth. Very well done. Tho 1 thing is that i don't really know what points are for and what is the good point amount and what is not.

Hey this was quite enjoyable. I would say the cookie didn't give too much high risk high reward, it would probably be better if it was a bit more hyperbolized, so like one shot both ways or something. Another thing i think is the melee splash attack could have probably also been stronger as getting close is more risky. But yeah i liked the game and all the abilities were good and served their niches well, and enemy AI was also rly good (i wish i could make AI like that xd). Well done

Cute art style. You also managed to create that feeling of risk pretty well. Though Imo game is too short and IMO for me it kind of lacks depth

Thx, glad you liked it! Idk why i haven't thought about A/D controls XD

My fav puzzle game i played this jam so far!! I liked it even tho i am not into puzzle games. Completed every level, i didn't use skip until last level?

Btw one thing, it is maybe just me, but i always was getting confused at the start of the level whether secondary road is on or off until i hammered in my head that when it is off it should be thinner. I think making the roads as light as main road would help. (or maybe they are already as light and then i just idk why i was confusing them, but at least they seemed darker to me)

Wowzers. I like a lot of stuff from this game wow. First is nice cute spin on ouroboros xd. I liked that you allocated some time and made it possible to have some self expression with the doggy colors. Arts were very cute.

2 things i kinda didn't like:
1 is input latency (but as i understood it is only a problem on browser)

2 not sure whether it would be better to just be able to straight up restart the game as soon as you failed the time, because playing after this felt like a chore, but i most likely just not seeing something. Would be cool if you could explain the idea behind it

Hey, very cool visual style.

Not sure tbh about the game itself, did only 3 levels, but they were the same except the speed of hunger so maybe it has more stuff later on.

Movement was rly fun and challenging, it made snake feel alive, loved that aspect a lot.
I think biggest thing to add would be some kind of bite animation or effect.

Thx so much for playing! Ye, difficulty is too much sadly. Btw wow did you bit the game?? To be honest I didn't even had time to beat final lvl XD

Thx for playing! There is no grid in the game, it is a continuous space.  But yeah second level sadly had high difficulty jump and had the worst hit boxes (especially with lava), even tho I tried to keep them significantly smaller then the obstacles visually are.  Thx for investing 25 minuts into playing it, I really appreciate it

Wows! Really satisfying game to play! Progression and all the Juice were rewarding.
Do u think maybe giving something like 0.2s of maneuvering before the loop breaks could add to the game? Like it would allow some insane skill moves on high speed.

Cool and unique idea for right target audience.
I think it would have been better if:
1. Code saved after esc
2. Nothing that can't be influenced by code was changing. For example IMO it would be more clear if cards in level 2 were falling from same position

Interesting idea. But i think there there definitely a scope creep.

Couldn't really figure out mechanics, wasn't able to push red boney. Maybe it is a bug maybe i don't get something.
But I really didn't like the jump. Instant feedback just feels better. Another thing i didn't like was the red grass, i thought it was spikes at first.

But yeah idea and art style are good.

Pretty fun game.  Displaying stats and some load anim for streams watched could add to it.

I think making growth a bit more exponential would be more fun.
I don't know if the spinning circle is a good idea for this type of game. Rn it is too difficult to just mindlessly do it (as u need to click so many buttons to add devices) and too easy to get you into the flow state which idk if even compatible with this type of games. Maybe i am talking nonsense idk.  Game Looks nice tho

I really liked the vibe of the game. Art style is sooo charming. Also liked the environment.

Good job on controls, they were really intuitive. And of course the game was rly rly addictive. Nice

Omg. The atmosphere is soooo good. I like how curiosity keeps me going to see how the planet gonna look. The level restart is so cool. I feel like maybe the donut (idk how is it called) can have a bit bigger collider

Hey! Thx so much for feedback! Yeah the difficulty is a bit too much. Thx for "automatic advancement to next level" suggestion, it haven't crossed my mind before, will definitely use it on the future game jams!

Wow. Very cool concept and execution. I think the platforming difficulty curve at least at where i stopped (level when u need to jump up around a thingy), was much higher then puzzle one. Maybe it was ur idea to swap them periodically, but i really liked it.

Everything felt and looked smooth. Last level was my favorite. I think the game is a bit too easy tho, like there are not really many things I can try to win, so sometimes i was just clicking mindlessly to try all positions

Hey, I really liked the animations, they were so good.
Tho yes, I can see the scope creep. But good job on your first game, as other have said for first game in 4 days this is really insane

Thx a lot!!

Yah retrying via arrow buttons was planned but didn't have time to implement it sadly :(

WOW, it is the DEEPEST game i've ever played!

It is what Adam Millard was talking about, in his "Discovery Games" video.

Better Then Tunic

What a beautiful experience.

Very funny game XD

The mechanics are not that engaging to me tho. But, i saw that you had to remove a lot of stuff cuz of time constraints, so ig that is why.

The idea is really unique

Move: WASD
Space: Dash
Tame: Hold LBM while being close to a slime

Hello, it is unfinished sadly but i would love to see someone play it. https://itch.io/jam/major-jam-7-wild/rate/3621118

Very funny game. Loved the visuals too. Everything works together really well.

Tho imo a lot of controls is here just to give player something to lose. But the by themselves are not really useful. So their removal does not create new limitations. I think it might be better to remove space button more often as it has a lot of things to substitute it. But maybe i was just really lucky to not get it removed more often.

Also the inverse camera is really cool and goofy, just perfect fit.

(Survived till day 7 :( only)

Wow, most fun game I've played so far! Really really loved when i had to protect someone, was great interest moment to break up the monotony!
Visuals were also amazing and very very fun. Every part of the game worked well together.

One thing that was a bit ambiguous tho was the like final win condition and the main goal overal

Liked animations a lot xd. I didn't really liked the timing elements of it, was a bit frustrating when I figured out what to do but i needed to time the bomb ant.
Overall the puzzles were good, and i liked how emergent every ant behaviour could be.
Also speed up button or automatic speeding up after everything needed is destroyed would be appreciated.
