Sorry, saw yours to late :(

Fun little game! I think some sort of preview of the jump arc would have helped a lot though.

Here is mine, it's a quick one: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-14/rate/3850222

Thank you so much, I appreciate it!

Yeah trying to have intuitive minigames that don't require explanation was exactly what I was going for, glad it worked out!

By the way, the equation you noticed on the table was the Schrödinger equation, the basis of Quantum Mechanics ;)

Very polished little game! There is a lot of juice in here and everything just feels nice. Also the plot and the warriors selling random crap is very funny.

I did like five ventures in and only had ~12 gems or something at the end, so I feel like it is a bit of a chore to get to the 27 needed. Also it's a bit annoying that every little thing touching the box takes away a gem I think.

Here is my game: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-14/rate/3850222
Will play and rate yours now.

I mostly ignored the shield, yeah. Might give it another try with shielding!

Amazing game, was very fun to play! The visuals are lovely.

The game could me more responsive in some cases, i.e. when you fill the bar for the pirates the first and nothing happens I was unsure if it worked correctly. Also sometimes it is hard to see which cookies they require, especially with the windy effects (maybe make it so the UI is not affected by that?)

Fun game with great visuals! I feel like it is a bit too hard and it would be nice to have some way of defending yourself.

Also I think the upgrades might be a bit too expensive?

Very basic platformer. I think something more than the bare minimum (like variable jump height depending on how long you press the button or any other mechanic) would have made it more interesting to play.

Interesting game, unfortunately there is no skill involved (i mean it's about gambling, but some sort of skill element would be nice). Also the game crashes if you try rolling the dice when there aren't any left over (but you can't see how many are left over).

Pretty fun 3d platformer though I think a bit too hard in places.

The idea of risking your limbs is funny, though I ended up just not risking anything and just trying to beat the levels xD

Pretty fun tower defense game! Feels like the "strategy" just boils down to getting an A or S tier turrent and then you win, so it definitely needs more balancing.

Interesting game, I thought it would be more on the platforming side instead of stealth.

The controls are kinda weird, you only get the max jump height if double pressing space immediately. Also the enemies sometimes turn around a bit too quickly.

All around a bit too hard for me.

Nice game! It was a bit too hard for me, I tried getting past the (first?) boss a couple time but couldn't do it.

Thanks, I appreciate it!

I think you meant to post this below a different game??

(1 edit)

pretty sure that is a stolen model of this ratatouille movie rat...

Also there is no way you made all those assets from scratch.

Very cute and pretty visuals and fun to play! Got 4 stars first try.

Interesting idea and overall funny little game. Gameplay gets repetitive fast though

Great game! Did not manage to beat it but I had fun. Visuals are great and in general very impressive to make a deckbuilder type of game in a week!

Fun little game but I think it is way too hard, gave it like eight tries and only once managed to beat the first level...

Very fun game, controls feel surprisingly good to play around with! The music is also a bop of course.

I think losing all progress when you don't reach the quota is a bit too harsh, just not getting any upgrades could have maybe also worked

Thank you so much!

Yeah, I am currently in the process of doing that.

Amazing game, had a lot of fun! Great visuals! It took me a while to understand how the tractor beam things work, at first I thought they would continuously boost you until you land on a space without an arrow, but after getting that it was fun to work out the movement!

Controls could feel better, the minimal jump height is too high I would say and the jump feels floaty overall. Also blind jump aren't very fun, some way to move the camera or in general see more of the screen would be nice. Oh and fullscreen didn't work.

Fun idea but the controls feel kind of weird, fell off the map several times. Also the bushes have no collider it seems.

Pretty fun game and a silly wholesome story. Having to quit the game to try again is a bit annoying (especially in browser).

Finally got around to make a browser version of my game, if you are still interested to play it.

Yeah, I continued playing the save until I sailed away and noticed small crabs stealing money and hammers of my workers, during the day.

Highlighting sounds good, maybe have bigger enemies in general? Probably some sound effects to go along etc., that you notice when they attack.

Solid little tower defense game. I think it could be a bit faster though, takes a while to get going.

Spooky atmosphere, good visuals (though the VHS filter is a bit too much after a while) and great sound design. The voice lines are also a nice touch.

Sadly I could not really progress since most interaction E's didn't do anything. As others mentioned, the collisions are a bit off as well.

Other than that, this has a lot of potential!

Great and completed little game! Simple yet fun and engaging plot, hurrying to fix the place up was expected but fun.

Of course, more polish etc. would help, but still a great game!

Good game, interesting Tetris-like inventory management system. I think there are a few too many enemies on screen, makes it hard to follow what's happening.

Also the game was a bit laggy for me, maybe try increasing the performance a bit?

As someone who has played Kingdoms New Lands, I can definitely see the inspiration.

It's great and captures the vibe of the Kingdom games well, I think a few more personal elements would have been great. Also during the nights no enemies were appearing for me? Was a bit confused about that.

Other than that, amazing visuals, sounds and polish!

Thanks, I went through a lot of rate for rates last night to make it happen!

Thanks, we actually hit 20!

Thank you! I found a good SFX library for once and crunched the last night to get them in the game xD.

You have a point, the euro coins could have been explained at some point. I think like from the position in the cash register and noone paying odd amounts of <10cts it's kinda clear (at least noone else complained yet apart from you and I doubt they are all European xD). Might add somethings in there.

Thanks! Might have to try that out later, then!

Thanks, happy to hear the jokes landed well!
