A very good game! She's pretty cool and interesting. It is very interesting to develop your kingdom.People are very funny, as are the enemies.I just didn't understand why the boars didn't attack.
I would really like the character to run.And the jump.

How does your game fit the theme?
We have put an emphasis on the calm before the storm, with a relaxing ambiance and experience for the player with interesting visuals and sounds during the day. During this period the player can explore and manage his villagers. During the night, a violent storm occur and waves of crabs rushes toward the player while destroying and stealing everything on their passage, including inhabitants.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
For the code, it's 100% ours! We made them all from scratch depending on our needs.
For the assets, since we are all developers we searched for available assets on the internet (with appropriate licenses).
We also made some of our own based on the acquired assets depending on our needs, for example the stalls, the water, the boat, items and palissades.

As someone who has played Kingdoms New Lands, I can definitely see the inspiration.
It's great and captures the vibe of the Kingdom games well, I think a few more personal elements would have been great. Also during the nights no enemies were appearing for me? Was a bit confused about that.
Other than that, amazing visuals, sounds and polish!
I gotta be honest, I'm too dumb for this game. I was wandering around for a while getting money, getting my money stolen, then I suddenly died. Really polished though, cute graphics and sounds!
It's a game with a very calm atmosphere, the night is also ominously foreboding at just the right level. The graphics are very nice, well thought out. At first I thought the game was buggy. I didn't give money to the beggars, I spent everything on the map on equipment. And the barricade was not built. Then, on the second run, I realized that they had to be hired. After about 15 laps, too many unemployed people came to town and I ran out of money. The rats stole the archery equipment. I wonder what the expensive wreck is in the forest.
Oh unfortunate hahaha, sorry for the inconvenience :'). We had many feedbacks on the tutorial, it's something we could definetly improve in a future build! The expensive wreck is the end goal, once you build it you win the game pretty much, there should be a cinematic but on the build we released for the game jam it didn't work ^^'. Thanks for playing and for your feedbacks!!
This game has a perfectly chill vibe, I love its atmosphere! I think I would have liked money to be a little easier to get because after the first day of collecting all of the barrels money gain was a little stagnant. But I'd love to play a game like this with more content, it would definitely work well if you continued development. Great work!
Nice game! The sound effects and everything was great! It heavily reminded me of Jonas Tyroller’s game Thronefall, just in 2d and pixel art.
Great! I really liked the kingdom type mechanics. It's fun and the artistic section is very polished.
Excellent work! :D
I would recommend getting it to run in the browser.
Aside from that everything was really well executed.
Great job to the team! The ambience and visuals, especially the reflection was impressive. This game has lots of potential!
The night was reeeally scary! Nice take on the theme, good work! :D
This was really nice! And with such a cozy vibe! I like how the other villagers get disappointed when someone else gets the job/weapon before them! ^^
One thing I'd like to add, it would be cool if I could order the archers to attack the animals so that I can get coins faster.
All in all, really nice game! Nearly played an hour! :-)
Thanks for playing! I absolutely loved making that feature, it's very subtle and I don't think many saw it ;) good job for spotting it! Controlling units like that could be interesting, if we make the game more difficult it could be a nice addition^^.
Thanks for the suggestion and very glad you liked it!
The game was really cozy and fun to play, there is some room for improvement, but overall the game is really stable and give similar fun to original, but in my opinion The biggest disadvantage is lack of threat.
Some things that can be improved:
Hello Sebkewmeszke!
Thanks for playing the game and for the feedbacks ;)
I agree on your points, we had many many issues with the entity spawners so we might do a pass on it to resolve all bugs related to it after the jam. Thanks for the bug reports!!
There's such a relaxing, serene vibe most of the game! The stormy nights change it a bit. I've had some Kingdom games in my Steam library for ages, I think I'll need to try one of them soon.
The tutorial is mostly great, but couple of things to improve:
- The tutorial told me to drop coins, and I picked them back up before building bows, so the game didn't progress. For several minutes I thought it had bugged out. It would be good if you either told me why I needed to drop the coins, or had me drop the coins after building the bows.
- I think chopping up wood allowed me to build up the town hall and the game to progress, but I had no idea that's what I was chopping the wood for. I thought it was just for the fences, so I didn't chop it for quite a while.
Great art and sound. Very satisfying to collect and use the coins. Enjoyed this a lot. Great entry!
