Fun game.  I wish I could turn off the full-screen 'old tv' shader, though, it's very distracting.  great effort!

Perfect score.  Addictive game -- has that elusive "one more try" feeling to is.  Great effort!

I have to give credit where credit is due -- Synty assets really helped as a baseline, and our (2D) Artist and designer @jackdrawsgames did a great job on the maze components, allowing me time to work on the code!  Thanks for the play and review!

I'm sure he is!  Thanks for playing!

I do want some kind of "turnabout" on the robo-dogs ... like the power pellets in PacMan, I was thinking dog toys, a ball, frisbee, stuffed animal or the like.  Thanks for playing!

nice card game themed for the Jam (what, no Jam for the biscuits?)  Great job!

love the visuals, but the inventory tracking, and tedium of moving things (shift click?) and arranging items is a lot.  It's not clear how to craft, or always what a particular item is.  do I have to have the items in the backpack to craft, or just the inventory?  did I miss a "crafting table"?  Good effort for a week!

fun and funny little skill-based guessing game.  I love 'pixel' art, but you have to be careful with keeping a consistent pixel size. bonus points for the dog theme!

lovely art style. save points should be closer together.  great effort for such a short time period!

And once you've played and rated, try the better bug-fixed-version: https://pryankster.itch.io/dog-eat-dog-polished

fun roguelite -- would have loved a little more animation, and a little more ammo!  smooth controls and really cute characters.

funny!  fun game play -- I wish there was a way to interrupt the intro, it's cute, but damn it gets long after the first time :-)  Great entry!

interesting take on the mini-game concept.  Some of the pauses were a little long -- I kept waiting for a "click to continue" type pause.  The music was not bad, but got a little repetitive.  good first jam entry!

in a week?  damn.  fantastic art, sound, gameplay ... the whole package (of biscuits)!

This is a messed up game ... in all the right ways :-) ... would have been a straight five stars, but the background music got on my nerves (yes, I know I can turn it down, and I did).  Super stupid fun... "Don't throw me in the volcano!" actual laugh-out-loud funny.

loved the dragon.  :-) hate flappy bird. :-(  not sure where the "risk it" part comes in ... but the dragon is super cute!

The polished version is a little more dangerous (as well as having some sound and a bunch of bug fixes).  it's not done, but it's getting there!  thanks for the review!

the 'polished' version has many improvements -- though the robot dogs are still pretty stupid.  The mazes start smaller and grow as you finish levels.

fun little robotron. I wish everything was a little larger.  good expression of the theme, though!  congrats!

so much fun ... one of the few games here that I've played multiple times!  great take on wario-ware type game.

nice "programmer art" :-)  interesting little distraction.  maybe add some more stuff to do while working?

Fits the theme, but a little too much RNG chaos for me ... no real skill involve (I guess that's like real Roulette :-).  Good effort.

cute graphics and meets the theme well.  Definitely needs some sprite/animation/collision box help, though!  Still, fun to play!

interesting take.  Controls were very slippery, though!  would like to see a few more levels with a little variation.  Good effort!

Fun game with cute and functional graphics.  I played for a lot longer than I expected I would.  Great job!  (But, are they biscuits or scones? :-)

Fun little game.  Well polished!  Great job.

Fun little yacht (Yahtzee) variant!  Dice sometimes were a little buggy settling down, but they eventually got there.  Great job.  Very clean and polished look.

fun boss rush.  Is it just me or is it pretty hard?  Great job!

Nice!  The graphics and sound are on point, and the dialog is funny! Great job!

good catch!  we’ve adjusted the camera a bit in the non-jam version.

thanks for playing!

thanks for playing!

One place that needs a bit of work is the robo-dog AI :-)  There will be a new release on the itch page soon.

Thanks for playing, and thanks for the review!

yeah..  there's a bug in the placement of the enemy dogs (And with the AI of the enemies in general) that ended up in the final jam build.  I've since updated a lot of things, and it's much more playable and polished ... I'll be putting up windows/linux/macos builds soon.

Thanks for the review!

ooh.  you make it sound like a David Lynch film :-)

Thanks for playing!

yeah, I've noticed that a few times -- there's at least one squeezy-bit around the dog house which pushes the character down a bit ... the good news is you can run through walls, the bad news is, you can't get home again!

Thanks for playing and rating!

Thanks for playing and rating!

thank you for your kind words!  The level in the Jam version of the game is a bit large -- it's actually meant to be a later level.  The first level is supposed to be 8x8, and gets much trickier if you want a high score!  (The version on my current build adds music and some SFX ... look for it on the itchio page :-)

Thanks for the rating!

Thanks! Glad you liked it!

"Pacman with physics" was pretty close to the originating idea!  Currently, the robot dogs have no AI to speak of, they just pick a random spot near them, and go there.  They will eventually have better AI and possibly personalities!
