Good idea! I felt like I was playing overcooked while all is in fire. Nice implementation of the mechanic, but I would recommend a single buttton for pick up and drop (maybe a bool just to check which action needs to take). Still, it was difficult and fun.

How does your game apply the limitation (and optionally, the theme)?
In this game, you are a firefighter who has to save civilians stuck in burning buildings and bring them to the ambulance. You can only carry one person at a time, but if there is a building that is "on the edge," meaning to say that it is almost going to collapse, your character too will be “on the edge," giving you the ability to “boss up." This allows you to carry two people at a time and will speed you up.

Really fun, loved the art, it's a bit difficult but very good nonetheless
The concept is very interesting, but there were some implementation issues that made it difficult to enjoy the game. The levels were way to difficult, which was worsened by the oddly precise hitboxes for picking up people. That was unfortunate, because the art style did sell me on the game.
This town needs some more firefighters to help out! Clever take on the theme and limitation. It was a nice shift from a lot of the other jam games I've played so far. The art was simple, but effective and charming.
I think it would play better with a single action button, so the same button to pick up civilians as it is to drop them off, or as was suggested, he should autodrop them when you're in the ambulance zone.
Overall, really well done!
Fun game, it was really satisfying to swing around those people when "bossing up" ^^
My only nit picking would be that having to press O to drop the civilian at the ambulance felt unnecessary, would have been more convenient to instant drop them when in the ambulance range.

Thank you for your feedback! We agree that we could have used one button instead for the feature. This was overlooked since we initially allowed the player to be able to drop civilians on the ground but realized that this would've been a loophole to win the game easier. Will make sure to think of these things more precisely moving forward. Thank you again!
so this is my story, I left my house to get some air and I was thinking what game should I try to do, and I started to think about a firefigther game that I was thinking for a while, I see your commment and come to play your to and for my suprise, its a firefigther game, awsome.
I got really dificulty wining the levels, I almost end up with no time.

The pixel art animations are great, the controls are also perfectly done and feel natural.
I found the difficulty a bit too high in my opinion, but maybe I'm just not good at it. I understood the concept of being on the edge and gaining boosts that way, I think it's very cleaver but might be more visible ingame by, for instance, changing the music pitch or adding some effects to the player to understand that you're gaining something (the lil sweat drop feels just like you're going to sleep lol).
Overall it's a cool game for 10 days of work, congrats.

I found the game too hard, though, but nothing that a little balancing shouldn't solve. I look forward to the future of this project, if you guys will continue it.
Tough Game!! Loved the look and feel of it all though. it was a little hard to pick people up sometimes though and im not a very good fire fighter.. All in all its a great game! Good job to the team!

Hey, this game looks very polished ! The art feels pleasant to the eyes. I must admit that the game is really not easy, perhaps it is a bit on the "too hard for a jam game"-side, but perhaps my opinion is a tad bit biased because I'm not a firefighter myself. Also I feel like the tutorial could've used less text, but that's just my idea.
Still, cheers on your entry and I hope you've all had a fun time creating this !
I managed to beat Level 1 and 2 but I must say that the game really isn't easy. The game is really polished and espcially the art looks great. It got repetetive pretty quickly though, which is why I only played the first to Levels. Also in my opinion it's a bit far fetched that the ability to "Boss Up" applies to the limitation but it's fine. Overall you still did an amazing job, great game!
