Very awesome art, cool vibes all around, interesting final combat!
I’ll agree with others in the comments and say I’d love to see this a little more fleshed out, give me an adventure getting to Billy and I think this would be first rate! As is I will certainly be dropping this in as a possible bounty for my crew to hunt down, or might have to try to flush out what story needs this as an ending!
great work!
This cyber slaps. Love the art and the demon but he seems like a pretty chill dude with his own motivations. I don't think that I've ever seen a Mothership character that would fuck with this guy.
The most original module I’ve read so far in the Jam! The vibe is cool and brings some memories. Putting in The Sink makes it also quite interesting breaking a bit the oppressing mood over there.
Great art! Very fun cybermods! The entire pamphlet is dripping with vibes and cool lore.
I wish there was more to incentivize some roleplay. It may be there and I'm missing it in my reading, but to me it reads as "go in and kill Billy Chu." Which isn't necessarily a problem. Just something I might flesh out a bit more if I were to run this. That being said, it's such a cool setting for a fight so that kinda makes up for it haha.
Nonetheless, an absolutely remarkable pamphlet! Especially considering this all stems from a single entry in a d100 table from aPoF.
Bringing cyber-enhancements to a fist-fight isn't precisely my definition of good sportsmanship, but it makes for one hell of a fight! :D
The cover and its arsenal display do a great job of selling the concept. Great job!
This looks really good. I am getting strong 90s anime vibes. Everything is very accessible. The setup is simple, and the showdown inevitable. It is short. The art is awesome, but there would have been room for two or three God Fist members, a DOPtown NPC, a bit of a description on Billy, a more prominent Reaping element, or a few more tropes. The art on page 2 does not look like a drop to the death from the balcony, rather a desperate slide down a crumbling wall. But that's nitpicking. This is great!
Apart from the awesome art / theme, what I love most about this is that I can see exactly how I'd run it at my table. There would be the Bruce Lee mini from the upcoming Unmatched box, and one of the clues would give hints about how this amount of damage could only come from very expensive cyberware, so my greedy crew would have an immediate mercenary hook for going after him.
An amazing looking module featuring an enhanced martial artist hunting down the members of a rival school. Layout, art, and presentation is first rate, and the location is perfectly presented.
I wish I had a bit more background info on the Demon’s motivations, and some suggested hints for how to track him down.
Gorgeous art, very legible layout. Good descriptions and interesting scenes and setup. Very flavorful and inviting. I like it a lot.
(+) A great threat fleshed out with a thorough timeline, plot points to look into, and a perfect setting to explore
(+) Excellent grunge art that still keeps the layout clean and easy to digest
(+) Clear and evocative locations that give just enough about the various spaces for Wardens to work with
Marvellous kung-fu movie energy! Great visuals.
I'm just going to be so real: this one got 5s in every category from me. It's my runaway favorite; you knocked it out of the park. This is something I never would've thought up on my own or expected to see from first-party Mothership, but it fits in perfectly and has a total confidence in what it is.
Thank you for this one.
I must agree, amazing art!
OMG the art is even better than I imagined, good work!
