Cool module! The way it bounces between game advice and in-world advertising is a little confusing at points, but once I got acclimated, it was easy to read.
I love the difference in stats when Delinquency mode activates! That's such a fun idea. I think it would be a fun module to insert into a larger campaign or design a small mystery around.
Good work!
A supplement providing a system of artificial lovers for Mothership, complete with a character class, consequences for not paying your fees, upgrades, and malfunctions. The art is evocative and gorgeous, perfect for the theme of selling sexy robots.
The layout and presentations is packed with good ideas, but the sheer number of different fonts and presentations unfortunately makes the final product seem a bit messy, as does the shifts in tone between in-universe sales pamphlet and real-world instructions.
The ideas and art are amazing, but the final product could benefit from a bit more room to breathe around the art (the text in front of the android man is slightly hard to read), and choosing whether it wants to present a player class or an object to buy - or from some more space to include both of these. I really hope this gets iterated on, because it has some great seeds.
(+) Utmost respect for including a thoughtful section on using sex content, especially player driven content, and how to discuss its usage at the table safely and respectfully
(+) Great 70s style marketing/ advertisement art style and legalese
(+) Fun diversity in customization and malfunction options for players and lean into
I'm having flashbacks to the film Companion. This is so polished!
Highly polished and professional entry. The hooks written as testimonials are a great idea, and they are chock full of stuff to inspire a warden. As a lawyer myself, the legalese made me chuckle. Corporate lawyers in space—now that really is terrifying!! Sexual themes at the gaming table are not my thing, but each to their own...
This is pure fetish fuel. I cannot use it, but I can imagine groups that can. With a bit of veiling it will make a superb NPC, maybe a villain. Thank you!
The combination of corporate pamphlet shilling their product, ominous legalese, and tools for wardens to drop this into their games is masterful! Fantastic work!
This is really fun stuff! A new threat with a bunch of plot hooks and the potential for a more -sympathetic angle, a new playable class, and it doubles as a legalese-stuffed handout? You spoil us!
I have a question about the new class. When it says gain the "base skills" of another chosen class, does that mean the non-bonus ones they start with? (ex: Teamster would give Zero-G and Industrial Equipment)
Exactly. I didn't really want to have the class start with more skills than anyone else but have a basic set from some previous brain scan. But honestly, that was a decision based on 'Balance' and wouldn't be opposed to someone starting with the full class skills of another class.
Spectacular! Glad we managed to get your submission into the jam, this one is one I wouldn't have liked missing out on.
