I like how the layout serves perfectly the module and the plot. It’s cool to see another murder-mystery based module!

I liked the murder-mystery approach for this one. I think that the interaction with the symbiote could have used more details and interactions to make it more central to the module. Would recommend having each group interested in using the PERFECT DREAMS technology more defined, so picking up the module is easier.

A cool little module revolving around a corporate product demonstration at a fancy hotel, it relies heavily on randomization to make every playthrough unique. The information design is fantastic, and it’s always easy to find what I’m looking for.

All the randomized options are good, but I can’t help but with some of the situation was a little bit more predetermined, so it could be fleshed out more, and the module could be designed around it. Leaving everything random gives more options, but puts more work on the referee. The location descriptions are good, but I’d love a few more interactable bits, or reasons to explore. E.g. Rio Street restaurant is not mentioned anywhere in the module apart from the map.

(+) Incredibly clean layout that makes navigating the many parts of the module very easy

(+) Lots of creative prompts to ensue chaos and begin an impromptu plot line, with a good structure to pace things

(+) A diverse range of NPCs that each have interesting twists and motives to play around with

Another Hotel Aficionado!

  • Lovely design and layout.
  • Packed with interesting ideas.
  • Can be used to generate some very wacky games, though to me it seems daunting to prep and run.

High replayability in this one. The NPC customization is great! Crazy situation for a setup. I wish there was something to tie it all together a bit more. But the players will take care of that. It will be a mad ride.

This one's dense - really dense! A lux hotel, a product demonstration gone wrong, a cast with their own relationships and randomized PC relationships, plus a whole host of complications and secret objectives... I'm impressed, but slightly overwhelmed! This feels like it's outgrown the trifold format and would *sing* as a short zine, it's honestly somewhat daunting in the current form factor. You've got SO MUCH good stuff here, but I wish it all had more room to breathe, or that some of the wordcount went to more basic things like pay for the job or mechanics for the symbiote.

Despite my whining, I do think the layout is remarkably legible, and everything you've written is great!

  • i love the theme of the hotel and the conference room really makes it feel like a real event someone booked so great!
  • the map has just the good amount of information and wants me to explore every room.
  • love all the throwing tables and there content, the secret objectives, the twists and critical threat make it really interesting !

This could probably work as a LARP too.

I do not have any LARP experience, but I take your word for it :)
