Nailed the puzzle design here, it must took u long to get these like that.. (the only issue with me would be that i cannot see the other sides of the dice due to camera)

Really well done. cool animations .. nice usage of blocking walls to force certain number, but a hint on ground tiles to what to come, would be a great addition.

Music is slow paced and fitting yet might seem repetitive if u get stuck to fast like me  <( ̄ ﹌ ̄)>

Good game, keep it up!

Really neat concept! It feels like this puzzle mechanic has a lot of room to be explored, and the puzzles provided in the game already show off some interesting features of the mechanic. I also enjoyed the chill and clean presentation of the game.

The graphics are great, with the simple shading and flat colors! I also found the music really peaceful, and watching the die roll around was soothing! I definitely got stumped by the puzzles, but that's more of a me issue rather than something wrong with the game! XD Great work!

I'm so glad you got a chance to play my game! Your game was actually my favorite of the 42 games I played this jam, so it means alot! Thanks! :D

Im not good at puzzle games :(
I wish I was smart enough to enjoy the whole game (got stuck on the gate level)
I like the way you implemented this idea, the looks, sfx, feel.

A very fun twist on this sort of game! I like how the dice feels while rolling and how you have to plan out your moves as your can't really backtrack without restarting. It looks and sounds great too. Nice work!

This is a really good puzzle game, it took a lot of trial and error but the frustration was offset by how chill the music and atmosphere is. Great job, hope you iterate on it more post-jam :)

Man what a great puzzle game! The mood is perfect, music and sound effects are exactly what you need in a chill puzzle game like this. If you add some more levels, give it a proper options screen, level select and such, I could easily see this on Steam as a chill puzzler. I didn't even find any bugs or anything that I would've wanted to change. Really impressive!

Thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed it!

Very nice! I know the music was relaxing but some of those puzzles got really difficult so well done on finding a concept and executing it very well! Gave me mad bloxorz vibes lol. That was really good.

This is the second game with a similar mechanic I've played this jam (both being from the PJP Discord). I do this this did a lot of things better, both the visuals are better and the higher movement speed makes the trial-and-error faster. One thing that the other game had that I think could have improved this one was that the other game showed an overlay that showed how far the die would move in each direction. This meant that it required less counting / trial-and-error to know if a move would careen you off an edge.

I've seen several in the same vein unfortunately, but I do appreciate that it forced the die to move the set number of times. It did devolve into a lot of trial and error rather than planning out moves, as it is very difficult to see where the dice will be in a few turns. I enjoyed myself though, well done :)

Developer

Yeah, I decided to give the die a pretty high movement speed to allow for trial and error because I didn't want mistakes to feel very punishing. That's also why I didn't have an undo button or anything, so that you can just reset and try again. Thanks for checking it out!

Really cool game! Unlike similar entries I've seen, the music and graphics were really good. Well done!

This game's atmosphere is really fitting and the gamplay is really fun. Had a joy playing. awesome entry!!

This was pretty good. This sort of idea has been a recurring theme, but I think yours is the most unique I've seen so far. Was a pretty difficult puzzler as well, I spent longer than I'm willing to admit on one of the later levels before giving up. Well made.

Well, I guess we have a winner! Although thematically similar to the Brackeys Game Jam winner a couple years ago, I found the game to be expertly designed, with interesting puzzles, good graphics, music, etc. I can't believe it was all made in just two days! Great job sir :D

This game is so relaxing! The levels were very well crafted.

This is a nice puzzler!  I like the pastel aesthetics of the game, and the level designs seem well paced.  My mind is not nimble enough to know which die face will come up next, so I did primarily rely on trial and error + if the dice seemed to "fall into place" with the puzzle (i.e., the dice face reveals a 3, and there's a path that uses exactly 3 spaces).  It's impressive that you designed all these puzzles within the jam period.  Great job overall!

Hey,

I really liked that the puzzle was small enough to experiment with, even if I was stuck pretty fast :(.

I think in game jam specifically, this kind of game could use a shortcut to just pass a level, so we can appreciate all the work you've done!

Clean arts for a nicely made game, congrats!

(I played it on stream, and gave up :( on a level, but my experience was globally really nice: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1536364115?t=1h33m21s )

Developer

Thanks for checking it out! Yeah, I agree, I think a level select would've definitely been a nice addition to the game.

Submitted(+1)

Not even a level select that is really long to implement (I mean, for a 48h game), just a shortcut to bypass some levels is enough imo for a game jame game :).

Submitted(+1)

Nice puzzle game! Very responsive and not too unforgiving with your mistakes. The puzzles are well thought with good complexity, and the clean arts really help when solving them. Great work!

Submitted(+1)

Fun game! I like the presentation.  I didn't get very far, but I like the fact that you can figure out certain patterns: 4 goes back to 4, 2 leads to 5, 6 leads to 1.

Submitted(+1)

Great simple visuals and music. I am dum dum and did not complete the game, it felt like there was one specific path I needed to take to finish levels. I gave up on level 4 or 5. I failed the trial but still well done!

Developer(+1)

Yep! A few of the levels definitely have only one or two possible routes, with some fake routes taking you pretty far into the level. Thanks for checking it out!

No worries, thanks for making it so I could play it lol
