Thank you so much for your review! We released the game a year ago without much fanfare, so I'm really happy to see that someone put in the time to 100% it! I'm so sorry to hear about the food bug! In the future, I definitely want to go through and give the game another polishing pass work out those rough edges! Your feedback was incredibly insightful, and I'll be sure to keep these things in mind when we update the game!

An absolutely glorious opening cutscene! The bitcrushed sound effects and voiced lines are charming, and the game is reminiscent of something Nitrome would make! I think it would be nice if you restarted on the level you died on, since playing through the previous levels every time gets a little tedious, but the overall style of the game is very solid! The hilariously long title got me XD Nice work!

Moving around was a lot of fun! Even though the giant snail doesn't hurt you, having it follow you around really gave it an imposing presence XD

Super slick! Riding around at night with the soundtrack and the smooth controls was total vibes B) I really liked the sound design as well; nothing was too loud or quiet! Great work!

I saw the character's hand and wasn't expecting them to sound so cute when jumping XD Super cute game! I thought the physics felt pretty nice and I really enjoying zooming around the house! Great work!

Absolutely gorgeous game! Everything culminated into one beautiful battle that was just the right amount of difficult! Quick, slick, very fun! Amazing work!

All SandDev kept saying while I was streaming this was "puppet". And so, this horrible creation came to be:

No notes, 10/10

Oh, please do! That sounds wonderful!

Sliding around in space is super slick B) Everything here is really well-polished, and the stars were a fun challenge! Great work!

This is such a well-crafted game! Others have talked about the depth of the movement mechanics, but I wanted to highlight the dynamic music that changed with the enemy types and slow-mo! I think it really added to the experience! Also, the ending destroyed my heart oh my goodness. Amazing work!

This was a very challenging game, but not in an unfair way! The puzzles really make you think, and it's crazy how you were able to make so many well designed levels in one week! Got about this far before getting stuck, but this was a great sokoban! Several hours of thinking went into this.

I felt like I was in a French indie film with the music and scene transitions! The domino falling is very satisfying, and the minimalist design really lent well to the gameplay! I think it would be nice if there was some indication as to which domino would be falling first, but overall, very nice! Great work!

I love the sprite work! Unfortunately, wasn't able to get past level 3 as the screen became unclickable for some reason, but the theming was on point and I'm a big fan of the card designs! Nice work!

So, so slick. I couldn't help but read all of the cutscenes with a southern drawl XD The atmosphere is absolutely killer, and I really do feel like I'm playing for my soul! It's a good thing I had some help, otherwise I would definitely be in hell right now. Although, I'm not quite sure if the game is supposed to start you at the hardest difficulty once you beat it? Other than that, this is a super polished jam entry! Amazing work!

"Mayors can't be slick?!" Oh but you are, Mayor. You are now.

Nothing was more satisfying than making Drabsville into the slickest town around! The basement section really caught me off guard, in a good way! The use of pngs for the townspeople really gives this game such a vibe and I'm down for it B)

Awesome work!

I'm an alpha rizz-maxxer thanks to this game 😏Honestly though, the end credits are some of the best I've seen in any game, let alone a jam game XD I wasn't expecting the DJ to actually switch up the track either! Fun game and excellent execution! 10/10 😎

The main menu was a good bit! Definitely surprised me! I liked the surreal atmosphere and funky tunes! The dancing hand is incredible XD For some reason, the fruit minigame doesn't seem to work on the Windows download of the game, but I was able to play it in browser just fine! There are a lot concepts here, and I can tell this was an ambitious project! Nice work!

I wasn't expecting to see rhythm game elements! It was a nice surprise! Also the narrator really adds to the slickness B) Great work!

That was super slick! The style points are off the charts here! There's definitely a lot of depth to the system that I am fully not skilled enough to appreciate XD I think the sound effects were a little too loud compared to the background music, but the soundtrack absolutely slapped! Very cool game!

I really liked the dynamic music when cleaning! And I really vibe with the old flash game style! Although the controls were a little difficult, I felt that the first level was really satisfying to get through! Nice work!

With all of these elements combined, this is a really creative take on the theme! I love the penguin models and the little spin your penguin does when it changes colors! The spin to attack the bowling pin penguins was a little tricky, but overall, a very slick game!

Oh man this guy is slick for sure! Really gave off those oily casino vibes! I'm a sucker for the old Windows 95 aesthetic! I'm also terrible at blackjack apparently. Great work!

The fish are adorable! Of course, I had to free every single one! By the end of the game, I really felt like I was one with the school B)

The boss designs are awesome! Their mechanical/steampunk vibe really fits the setting of a train! I felt like a few of the parkour sections were a little tedious to get through, as falling through the floor after getting so far didn't feel great from a player's perspective. But the beginning portion is very strong! Definitely gave a slick impression! Great work!

The UI really sets the mood for the game! I thought the gameplay loop was simple, but fun, and the eldritch being has a very cool design! I think it'd be neat if your environment started to shift the closer you got to doom!

It's one of my favorite endings, so I'm so sad that it doesn't play the correct end roll currently 😭Thanks for playing!

It's amazing how you were able to draw so much art for the game! The characters were fun to interact with, and the quests were entertaining to read! I noticed that sometimes, when characters would show up in pairs, one of them would phase through the door, but that's a really minor thing! Very neat game! Great work!

What a unique concept! I liked that how, by reversing your role like this, the game got harder in a different way! Normally, if you play as a hero, the game gets harder because the monsters get stronger. But in this game, you're the one getting weaker! There were a lot of neat puzzles and the art was super cute! The movement and controls were a little hard to get used to, but I still enjoyed my playthrough! Great job!

This was so much fun to play! A straightforward concept with a great execution! I struggled hardcore, but it was an enjoyable kind of struggle! At first, I wasn't too sold on the concept fitting the "roles reversed" theme, but after reading your explanation, I can definitely say I've changed my mind! Awesome work!

Also, this concept hit a little too close to home for me, because my keyboard is actually a malfunctioning mess as well XD

Wow! It was cool that you were able to fit so many mechanics into this game in only two days! There were a lot of controls to remember, but introducing them one at a time definitely helped, as I didn't feel super overwhelmed! I didn't actually realize that I had a gun until I pressed the first button, so I think a small tutorial for the gun would be nice! Overall, great work though!

This truly felt like a game of capture the flag, in the sense that I was constantly going "Where is my team???? I guess I'm carrying" XD

This game was super well polished! Great sound effects and visuals, especially with the slow down effect that happens when an enemy approaches you!

I think having an indicator of when your teammates are going to respawn would be helpful, and well as giving the player just a bit more jump! The timings for the platforming are super tight, which makes it pretty easy to fail jumps when you're panicking and trying not to get caught! But I'm also pretty bad at games, so it could just be me!

Great work!

Super polished game! I thought the aesthetic was super cohesive, and I liked looking at the different character names in the pause screen! The puzzles were clever, and I think being able to control the level with arrow keys would make for a nice playing experience! Amazing work though! And those scene transitions were very worth fixing, well done!

This game was so cute! The sound effects and animations are so adorable! This was a nice puzzle game with a fun mechanic! I really enjoyed it! Awesome job!

This game was really fun! I liked watching the car drive off after the road was completed, and your concept is very creative! The drawing could be a little finicky at times, but I still enjoyed the game a lot! Nice work!

Very cool concept! Getting the customer's order right while also making it wrong was a little tricky, but honestly, being able to serve someone a raw burger in a cooking game is incredible XD As someone who's played quite a bit of Overcooked, it was satisfying in a way to try and fail customers on purpose! Great work!

This was awesome! I love tower defense games, so being able to play as the wave-sender for once was a nice twist! And defending the castle after I took it over was cool! I only made it to the second level, but the fact that there is more than one level to begin with for a two day jam was really impressive! Especially since the levels have different phases! Amazing work!

I'll think twice before eating a burger now  ( ; - ;    )

This was nice and simple, but fun to play! I think the burger munching sound effect really added to the silliness of the concept XD

Nice job!

I love the title of the game! It's so funny XD This is awesome for your second ever game! Playing as the rocks instead of the spaceship was a nice twist! Great work!

This game was so cute! I loved the art style, and the writing was really fun! I was only able to win over the modern hero, but I might have another go at trying to befriend the fantasy hero again! Oh, one thing I noticed when playing was that, sometimes, the modern hero would say certain lines of dialogue that the fantasy hero had! Other than that though, excellent presentation! Playing as one of the monster grunts you normally destroy in an RPG was a good take on the theme! Awesome job!

Oh! Thank you for playing! I'm glad to hear that the game runs smoothly on Linux, as we actually had no way to test it on any of our equipment XD

For now, we don't have any plans to add Linux to the Steam release, but it's definitely something we can look into after the game's launch!
