I won all rounds on the first try 😎

Really fun art style, the UI design and color choice is super evocative of old PC games, great job!

Fantastic presentation! Took me a few rounds to understand completely, but a really satisfying play once I did. Cute art for sure :)

Great idea - simple, intuitive and strategic take on rock / paper / scissors! The art style is bright and bold, which really suits the tone of the game :) Great stuff!

Interesting spin on rock paper scissors!  Definitely adds a new strategy layer to the game.

I love the art style you came up with for the game.  It fits well and the pink background makes everything pop!

I did initially get confused on how the points system worked, but after playing a few rounds, it was easy enough to catch on.  Nicely done, and quite charming!

Pretty simple, simple fun!

Nice twist on rock-paper-scissors formula, loved the graphics, the music and the idea!

I really like how you sold the game in the page description! It felt like it's the kind of thing that would be read on the back of the game box. Visuals and music work really well together! Cute little game <3

Neat concept, and great presentation! Like others have noted, it is really confusing at first, and I never really figured out what the meaning of the points vs the typical pairings is - are the points only used in a tie?

Developer

The idea was that in the event of a tie, whoever has the higher strength on their item wins. And with the fact you get more points for winning game 3 than game 1, suddenly you have stronger items and more of an incentive to win certain games over others! You can then use that information to predict what the opponent would want to play what where and you can try to counter that.

Amazing pixel art. The color choice really helped the game pop too. Had that fun retro feel. Good job.

I was super confused my first play-through, but after I read the rules I had more fun

Every Pico-8 game must be praised!

it is a good concept. I was a little confused at beginning too! A better explanation of the arrow buttons for each slot wold help.

Good job!

Fun concept!

It was a bit confusing to begin with but after a while I got the hang of it.

The art looks great (also good choice of music).

It was a bit difficult to figure out how to play at first. After that though it became an interesting take on rock, paper, scissors. It was a good game overall, well done.

that's a cute little game! is the bot deterministic?

Same as others - i had to play for few round to understand what I am doing even with the tutorial. Cool concept, but would need more polishing - which is expected. Good job!

It was a little confusing at first but the point system made sense in the end. The input was also a little confusing at first but honestly it just felt like classic jank gameboy input in a somewhat endearing way. I think the overall strategic aspect of the game would be improved either playing against a human or having multiple CPUs with personality so you could try to guess what kind of strategy they would use. Otherwise against a faceless CPU it's sort of arbitrary on what they're going to do.

I really like the pixel art and aesthetics of this game. The gameplay is pretty straightforward and fun.

This was confusing. I finally managed to figure out how I was supposed to line up the different objetcs but definitely not intuitive for me. Enjoyable once I figured it out though
