How does your game fit the theme?
In this shooter-platformer, you use dice both as platforms AND your ammunition! Spinning dice fall from the sky and land on a random value. The only way to shoot enemies is to stand on a dice to use the dots on its face as ammunition. It's not all random, though! You can also shoot falling dice to lock in their value, and get more or better bullets!

Really good concept!

The core mechanic of managing the dice both as platforms and munitions works very well. It takes some time to get used to it, and it is very hard, but ity is also very challenging and fun!

I like how you have to balance between shooting enemies to kill them, preserving some ground to move around and shooting dice when they have a big number on them. There is a lot of depth in this gameplay!

Also, the game feels very polished, it has nice art, juicy FX and screenshake, good sound FX and a catchy music!

Well made, great job :)

This game is difficult, just the way I like it! The idea of resource management is kicked up to 11 in this game. Great work!

Whoa, okay not only is this probably one of the most creative ideas of the jam, but also one of the best executed and polished! Looks amazing and feel great to play!

Awesome work! :D

One of my favorite games in the jam so far! The design really speaks for itself because the game has so much depth to it, while just being fun! Loved it. Played at https://www.twitch.tv/hedgein <3

My favourite part of this game is probably the strategy that comes from using the platforms as ammo - it was great fun to plan ahead with where I was standing, trying to time hitting the blocks so they rolled the right number, finding ways to build up a tower - I loved how much gameplay evolved from a few simple mechanics, it was elegant! It felt well balanced as well, I never felt like I was being given an unfairly high or low number of dice compared to enemies. The powerups were a great addition as well, they added some variety to the gameplay and I liked how well they were communicated with the graphics. Also, it's a minor thing, but being able to watch the game continue on after I'd lost was a nice little feature. The artwork was also a great feature of the game, I loved how it was both aesthetically pleasing and readable, and I especially like the game thumbnail - it's got some great perspective. The music fit very well with the feel of the game, so that was great to hear as well. Really nice little game overall, so well done!

Wow, great shooter, there is a real sense of danger with the dice disapearing on the ground, well done!

Definitely a very unique concept and a very very fun game.,  This is going on the replay list because I just got sucked in playing a bunch.  I seriously need to know how you come up with these ideas.

Anyway though, gameplay wise.  The one thing I will say is I'm not entirely sure if anyone of the enemies are special.  Besides health bars. and different attacks.  For example it seemed like the floating.. crane (?) had the ability to destroy blocks.  But I'm not entirely sure if I'm right on that.

One other thing I would say is it seems like the ability to use a side of the blocks while they're falling still deletes the blocks when they land.  Which is a little bit weird, but not.  I'm not sure if that's completely intended.  I feel like having it use from both sides could be a little more helpful.  But it's also just a really cool mechanic in general to use whatever side is facing forward as the side that you're pulling from so not sure if it would help or not.

Loved this game! Was super fun even though I'm horrible at platformers. Super unique concept and I think this concept could go really far! One of my favs for sure!

very cool and creative concept, i liked it a lot. its easy to pickup but hard to master - the best kind of game!

That was a bunch of fun. I kept playing to try and get a higher score. I really like the mechic of having to keep track of both blocks and enemies at the same time, but my only wish would be that the game started slower and built up over time in difficulty as it felt a little bit like diving in head first at times. Super cool submission, great work!

Really cool game!! Feels like with a bit of polish, it could be a really good standalone experience. Aside from some loud sound effects mixed in, and a very high difficulty curve, the game is very good.

Super original take on a game that could have been professionally made for mobile devices. Love the huge variety in blocks available, and the chaos that gets made as you progress. Loved playing this charming little timewaster!

Very original concept! Dice being your platforms and your ammo! So creative!

Overall, nice game and presentation.

A very fun little game. It gets kind of ridiculous pretty fast, with there being way more enemies than bullet blocks. But overall it was a ton of fun. My highscore was 1500.

I really feel like this would make a great mobile or arcade cabinet game.

Very well done, especially the multiple uses of each mechanic! using the ammunition not only as a weapon but also to lock a falling die to its face and then also causing you to lose parts of your floor, perfect. [REDACTED FOR SAFETY AND INTEGRITY OF OTHER PLAYERS PLAYTHROUGH]

It took me a second to figure out the main gimmick of shooting the dice at the right time. The tradeoff between platforms and ammunition is interesting and not something I have seen before. I would be interested to see where that can go. The game can get hectic at times, which sometimes leads to scenarios that can feel unfair, but I don't think that's the fault of any mechanical flaw. Well done and very thematic!

Thank you!
