How does your game fit the theme?
In this shooter-platformer, you use dice both as platforms AND your ammunition! Spinning dice fall from the sky and land on a random value. The only way to shoot enemies is to stand on a dice to use the dots on its face as ammunition. It's not all random, though! You can also shoot falling dice to lock in their value, and get more or better bullets!

This is awesome! Really, such a clever idea and I just love how it causes you to make so many split-second decisions while your eye darts between the dice, the enemies and the player. The difficulty ramps up quickly, but I imagine someone would be able to get really, really good at it by trying different tactics and being able to prioritize actions subconsciously, which is really exciting when it comes to action games like these. Great concept, feels very good to play and on top of that it looks and sounds great too!

Thank you for playing!

I don't like the purple pow things, I'd much rather just get a normal dice. Unless Im misunderstanding and they're supposed to be bad. Besides that, really fun game!

Great take on the theme! I really like the simple control with the dice being both the platform and the ammo. I think there is a slight balancing issue due to the frequency of dice arriving vs enemy arriving vs the speed of the platform sinking, but might also just be a player skill issue :p

Art and sound look and feel great, good job to you and your team!

Awesome game! very original and challenging.
My only note is that you can't tell how much ammo you have left for the dice on the lava pool.

I like it, very difficult!

Man... If this doesn't make it in top 20, I don't know... I am baffled by the creativity of the gamedesign and level of polish of graphical and sound fx. In what world will someone use dice as platforms and ammunition at the same time. I fell this game was made by the Quentin Tarantino, mixing up real good elements of classic game such as tetris and space invaders and donkey kong and doodle jump :-))). and btw, I am  a big fan of the gray skulls design! really cool!

One of the best, congratulations !

Have no idea what that nuke thing did, it didn't seem to hurt enemies (or maybe it did).

Developer

Hey there! The nuke is sliiightly bugged, but does hurt most enemies! Will be fixed in the post-jam version though. Thanks for playing! :)

A brilliant balance of setting up your platforms, whilst also gunning down your opponents. Highly recommend! Please keep up the good work!

Got a lot of depth to this one! Very strategic and smooth platforming movement.

Great idea and execution! This all works together so cohesively and feels great to play. My main problem is that it feels like it should be a lot faster paced. Maybe it's just me but everything feels a little slow. Not necessarily a bad thing but I feel like this should have faster paced gameplay. Other than that I have no complaints. Everything works together wonderfully!

VERY creative! The idea is pretty unique, and the game plays quite smoothly.

Honestly a great concept, well executed. That’s basically the perfect Game Jam Entry, well done!

Please make a downloadable version of it! (:

love this game, very polished and tight movement and mechanics. I'm glad other people made action platformers, always a fun genre :D

Very polished, very creative and very fun.

Very fun game! There are a lot of dynamics that I really enjoy. The only criticism I have is that I think you should be able to walk off the left side of the screen and wrap around to the right side

Aaaaa that's very nice! A lot of depth in this one, and also super well presented!

Very nice! Loving the strategic decisions you can make playing this, all these micro choices like balancing the risk / reward of how many bullets to stop each platform on knowing that it'll be your ammo for later... clever stuff, addictive, and great presentation!

Wow! Absolutely amazing game :D It's so well polished too!

The concept is really cool and I really enjoyed the fast paced thinking necessary to maintain enough platforms at the bottom.  Music and art are also great! Had a lot a of fun playing this!
