The ambience is absolutely amazing ! Great work on the art, UI and music !
You fit the theme to a T... Maybe too much actually !

Still, an impressive work for 48h.

Loved trying to punch the ghost into oblivion, didn't expected it to work, but it did :D
Would definitely love to see more of this premise, the dice mechanics are just simple enough to compliment the interesting and interactive story. Congrats on finishing the jam.

Short but sweet! I really enjoyed the art and music choices that created the cool spooky atmosphere of the game. I even noticed you timed the ghosts in the beginning up with the music, an unnecessary but nice touch. I would have loved to play a bit more of the game, but it's understandable with time that you weren't able to get as far as you wanted. Overall, I thought it was a nice short demo for a future game project. I'd totally encourage you to finish this game. It looks like you have all the foundation made and would just need to fill it with a great story. Great job!

The art and sound were very well done, and I totally would have kept playing as it kept my attention and I was itching to know what would happen next. I also like the d&d style dice roll even if it did feel very out of my control. Overall, very fun!

I really like the way this game looked. The gameplay was simple and clear which was a good benefit. I really like where the game was going. Overall, I think you did an outstanding job on presentation, I only which there were more to play but given the limits of the jam i think what is provided is a really cool proof of concept.

Addictive game! Can't wait for more content! Well done!

The atmosphere, music, and animations all added immensely to the experience.

With more time I would love a full adventure of this, but one thing to note is that I don't think you need to hide what the success number is? I think the suspense of the die roll might be heightened if a player knows what they need to roll. Right now, the "Yay" or "Oh no" moment comes through reading the text, and not the moment the result is shown.

I thought of that too , but if you know the odds beforehand you'll just take the option with the highest odds, and since choices are important in this kind of game I tried to make a compromise with this system... I'm not quite satisfied with it. But thanks for the feedback. I'd be interested in hearing other ideas for the roll system.

Nice game with good pixel art. The music was soothing and spooky. I enjoyed it :)

Really cool  text-based D&D inspired horror adventure. Really loved the music, it gave an awesome overall mood. The sounds of creaking doors etc. just added to that.  Very unique game! good work

Loved the mood, the art, the sounds and text-based d&d-styled horror adventure. There isn't much new going on here, but it is fun and beautiful.

Nice game. I liked the success rolls like in D&D. It was really pleasing to look at.

My only wish is that it was longer.

Great job!

I loved this game, reminded me of a good DnD session.  I must say the ambiance you managed to create is absolutely amazing. Cheers on the sound design, especially the music!

Also, I stayed on the main menu watching the ghosts appear in tune with the melody for far too long. I don't know why it's so satisfying. Cheers on a great game!

I often comes back to the game just to see the ghost appearing on beat, so I getcha. Thanks for the kind words.

I hope the skull is Murray. Great game! It reminded me of Choose Your Own Adventure books.

It was basically the idea. Glad it reminded you of that.

This was great! Love the aesthetic and general atmosphere. The dice was very forgiving, though maybe I was just lucky. Would be interested in seeing more like this.

I got spooked for real, didn't expect a horror game for this theme so huge plus for unique idea.

Love the atmosphere in this game wish there was a bit more but there is only so much one could do in 48 hours.

Nice game! The visuals are really cool, this reminds me Undertale a little bit.
